Waffle House — Restaurant in Russellville

Went here after the rodeo. I have no problem waiting especially when busy. We sat when we walked in. 5 min later Joyce took our order. She went to call it but the cook/supervisor asked her why she took our order if it wasn't her table. I get it. The one that was supposed to take our order was super busy and she wasn't. Didn't care. We waited an hour after our order was taken before it was done. Others who ordered after us got their food before us. I ordered a Bacon egg and cheese hash brown bowl with gravy added to it. No gravy when I got it and food was cold when they finally brought it (on a biscuit 🤦‍♀️). The gravy was a clumpy mess too. I am talking jiggly instead of a little loose. We will not be going back. The guy who was our waiter asked about the gravy more than once. The cook/supervisor was rude to his staff. I get it. It was busy and he could have been stressed but if he couldn't handle it hand it to someone who could. They gave us 25% off our food because my mom was upset over it. I just wanted to go home. Once home I added milk to the gravy and sauteed the food to warm it back up. Home made would have been better and will opt for...

I've been an avid WH lover for as long as I can remember. I eat there pretty often. I won't get to eat there as often now because they don't allow you to call in to go orders and you have to place online. With the specific way I like my order, it doesn't allow me the options to do this online. So tonight I had to go in the store, wait for a few minutes, and still not have my order taken. Then I came back after something I had to do, finally got my order taken, waited for almost 20 minutes for it in the parking lot..... And it wasn't right. Not even close. Basically a whole different menu item. Had to take it back in so my right order could be made and had to again wait a while for that. It honestly ruined my night.

Just editing to add that my order didn't turn out better the second time around. They got the gist of it but it still wasn't right. I'm very disappointed. I've been to this location several times now and never had any issues so I'm sure I'll go back again and hopefully be better than tonight. But with all the different WH locations I've been to, this is the worst experience...

So, first let me say the food was pretty good. Standard Waffle House fare. The service was AWFUL. I have been a server, so if I don't leave a tip, you know it was bad. Sat down to a dirty table, when our waitress finally acknowledged us, we had to ask her to wipe the table off since she nearly set our silverware on the dirty table. Then, she gave us silver ware and menus, but didn't take our drink orders, and walked off for a good 10 minutes while she chatted with another worker. When she finally came back, she took our drink and food orders, then brought our food out BEFORE our drinks, and brought it out haphazardly, with long periods of time between pieces of our meal. We had to remind her to bring our drinks after we all had our food. We had to ask her to bring syrup for the kids waffles, then we went the entire meal with no drink refills while she talked to another worker. Finally had to ask for refills, which we didn't get until we were...
