The best Mexican Restaurant in my city of Russellville...Authentic food home made with quality ingredients, and authentic spices. It is like dining at heaven's Mexican Kitchen. The food is never over heated with spices, or underheated, and you always get an a mazing salsa in three diffrent levels of heat if you are the type who swallows a whole jalapaeno just for fun.(Not me) which is why this mexican restaurant is my favorite place to please my palate. when I get adventurous and want a change from my american pie ....I go South...

We really enjoyed the food here (it was exceptional quality and and authentic cuisine) and would have given 5 stars but the wait for our food was extremely long and so was our table service sometimes too. However after tasting the food and having the first bites of it having us ummmm and close our eyes as we savored it we will gladly return and wait as long as we have to, to dine and eat again. Sorry forgot to take pictures of our main course dishes, we were so hungry we just dug into them. Lol

While traveling from Mississippi to Chattanooga, we stopped at this little place in Russellville. It looked to be a family run place. The atmosphere is what you would expect. It was pleasant and colorful. The service was exceedingly excellent. The food was pretty average, a little under seasoned to my taste, though there were a couple of types of hot sauces on the table. However, the food was well-prepared and artfully presented. I would stop by again as I travel the road regularly.

So, I was so excited and hopeful because when I went to pick up our food, the place was packed. Usually a good sign. However, when we got home, I was so horribly disappointed. First off, the food is absolutely bland. I expect Mexican food to have some spice. There was not even a hint of spice in anything. Tasted like when the hospital cafeteria tries to make Mexican. Second, the small cheese dip, was about three tablespoons of cheese dip. AND they had not secured the lid on it, so it had dumped all in the bag. Third, my youngest son got the kids meal with pizza rolls and fries (I know, not the thing to order at a Mexican place, but he's picky) but his plate looked like a box of charcoal. Everything was burnt to a fare thee well. Fourth, my husband and oldest son both got the taco salad, and their ground beef didn't look cooked all the way. The only reason I can think of for them to be this popular is Russellville's severe lack of restaurant options, and the fact that the locals have probably been going here for years, and it's more about habit. This all on top of having to wait 25 minutes to get to the counter to pay for my food, which was sitting there getting cold the whole time. We won't...

Well, I saw that this place had mixed reviews. They are not on DoorDash which made their takeout service hectic. It may have affected the quality of the food. We placed our order online and it seems that not many people utilize their website. They asked for our order number which we were not given an order number online. Waited 10-15 minutes after I arrived for the order. Then the food was not very good. All of the shells were overcooked and too hard to cut with a knife. The cheese was melted into the boxes. Most restaurants put something under hot dishes for takeout. They could have been short staffed and overloaded for a Saturday night. I’m not sure how the rest of the Mexican restaurants are in town but I wasn’t impressed by this one. Which I was very hopeful. It was cheap, paid under $50 for 6 people. I would happily pay more for better food...

So this was Saturday wanted to take the family and kids to get some good Mexican food. We showed up with the family service was decent but the wait time for the food can't be said it was the same. Order some soup the tortillas didn't come out. We all oreded the same time and one for the fajitas order took longer then usual to come out. The waiter then cam to ask if I had ordered? We ordered together mine took a good 15 min to come out it was a fajitas. So I ordered some tacos to eat with the fam because everyone was almost done. The waiter then comes out asking if all was good then left when she saw there was no tip. Even though she was not the one who served us. The fajitas were dry 3 pieces of shrimp would not recommend and if you say it was probably packed it wasn't so I couldn't understand the wait time...
