Rutland has the worst KFC, I've ever been to, customer service and employee attitudes are deplorable. Rude and disrespectful, service is slow, they don't know what they are doing make you wait for the food, waited 25 minutes in drive thru at the speaker and just asked what the issue is and they got rude and told us to get out of the line and started cursing at us threatened violence, wanted to come outside and fight who was the african American store manager. And later found out that he just got out of prison with no experiance and was made a manager and is running the restaurant ! Is this how desperate KFC is for employees, and management. No wonder why this KFC is so bad and no one wants to eat there. should have called the police and had this manager thrown back in prison, going to call the district Mgr or owner if you can even find where to get a hold of them. This individual should be fired this is intolerable never had this happen ever at a business worst restaurant experiance ever. Numerous times been out of chicken or other items on a daily basis seems too hard for them to figure out how to manage supply and demand at normal and daily rush hour times if they cant figure it out they shouldnt be in business and for the chicken if you could even call it that pieces have shrunk so much soon we will get cornish game hen pieces, and along with the sides and they get recycled from the day before so at times its not fresh, don't have honey packets, or backed beens and prices are so outrageous, the worst experiences every time we go. Don't recommend it to anyone even if you were starving, I'm totally done ill never go there again ! We need a real chicken place. Read moreI have not been a fan of KFC since before it was tore down and rebuilt, quality of not only food, but service and attitude were at the bottom of the barrel and I hardly ever went. I went yesterday for the first time in 6 months and I was pleasantly surprised by the service and that of their new manager, who I believe his name is Oscar, but not 100%. The girl at the counter was fairly new, but very friendly, and pleasant. No one was waiting to pick up their orders, Door Dash wasn’t back logged, drive through wasn’t backed up, everything was working smoothly as it should. I maybe waited 6 minutes for my meal to be put together and I had a fairly large order, because I was ordering for more than just myself. The manager himself brought the packed orders out to each of us that came in and ordered in the short time I was there. He carried himself with authority, but he was very friendly and kind, and thanked each of us for choosing KFC, and coming in and giving them a chance. For the first time in a very long time, I left KFC feeling pleased and completely satisfied with my experience there. There could be hope for KFC yet. I sincerely hope, they stay on this path and keep the current manager, because just off a first impression, he’s the best thing that has ever happened to KFC. Once someone came, after being told it would be "just a second" they informed that there wasn't even a drawer in operation and it would just be easier if we used the drive thru. Once again told "just a minute" (it was actually closer to ten minutes. We finally place our order, pull around and pay. In a few moments someone arrived to take payment and disappeared with the card. After handing the food they slammed the door as I was asking about the receipt. Only after honking several times did someone show back up. I asked for a receipt, they disappeared again and returned with a receipt saying that the printer at the window isn't working. I made a remark about the experience and was told that they were "short staffed". After arriving home we found that our order was not complete. Calling to address this was met with an ambivalent attitude. For a restaurant that's barely been open for two years it's plenty filthy.
