This was not a good experience. We had ordered online and respectfully waited on the app for them to indicate that the order was ready. It never gave that notification, with the status frozen as "still in process." We went to retrieve the order anyway after some time had passed. Not only was the person this morning incredibly dismissive and rude on first contact despite the issue being wholly on their end, but she continied to berate us for not picking it up on time. Our family will not return to this "establishment" again, and we will also be telling all we know. In today's social climate, the most basic decency and courtesy, especially in food service, is a requirement for many people. What a shameful experience all involved. Coffeelands is a hidden gem in the Wachusett district! They have a spacious, clean and comfortable cafe with high quality coffee, espresso and tea and delicious breakfast and lunch items, including smoothies! I do school work here often and it is a place where everyone feels welcome: whether it be a mom's group getting together with their babies for an iced coffee, professionals meeting for lunch, family stopping by for a smoothie, or locals grabbing a quality cup of Joe! So delicious! From the coffee to the bagels, everything is so delicious. I wanted to try it for a while and finally stopped in on a Sunday morning. You have to try the avocado pistachio bagel sandwich if you like salty and sweet. To die for! The bagels are perfect, not too thick, and a perfect balance of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. I got an iced caramel coffee which was also perfect.
