Rutland House of Pizza — Restaurant in Rutland

I want to say I really like the pizza and steak and cheese & had a great bbq calzone last. Driver is always polite. Comentors below say it both takes too long to get there order & that the driver drives too fast ..at 45mph (which is at most 10 over the limit on most roads around town). What do you want from this place? They are the ONLY place that delivers in this immediate area and there are few options even for pickup close by. So, yah I expect my order to take an hour (they will even tell me so on occasion) and I plan around that just fine. now and then the guy shows up in 25min, just a bonus. So please be patient, enjoy your food you did not need to make, or pickup my fellow couch potatoes...if this place gets discouraged, there will be 0 delivery options. If anyone feels it can be done better please step up, we could always use...

Lived in Rutland for a while and got takeout from this establishment many times.

Pros: Broccoli Alfredo Pizza Gluten Free Pizza options Onion Rings Convenience for a town with few dining options

Cons: -Price (this place is very expensive for what you get) -Grease (all of their food is pretty greasy, more than it should be) -Timeliness (never had an order take less than 40 minutes to make, even for just 1 pizza).

Overall, it is a good option for the quiet town of Rutland. For the price, I would rather Dominos (which is about 1/3 the price of here) but the closest one was in Holden and sometimes I just did not want to drive/pay for delivery. It was a nice way to mix it up but $40+ for 2 large 2 topping pizzas (the large is only 2" bigger than dominos' large), it just was not worth it unless I was craving...

I am absolutely fed up with this place. The pizzas fine. But DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. Every single time I order food... It takes over an hour to get to my house which is 3 miles away. Today I called at 11:18 to order 3 pizzas. They said it was an estimated 40 minutes. The driver just pulled in my driveway at 12:35. There's absolutely no reason it should take that long for 3 pizzas to be delivered around noon on a Friday. I will ALWAYS choose Toulas and drive to pick up my order from now on.
