Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Sacramento

Ghetto and Unprofessional.

We got there at exactly 9:35 p.m. we get up to the drive through the lady asked how can she help us. We said we wanted some chicken.

She stayed there is no more chicken and said there would be a 13 minute wait

There were about 3 cars ahead of us waiting. We asked her does she have any chicken available she said just a 3 piece spicy we said we would take that.

Before all that she kept on calling us mam when we are Males. She kept going back and forth between mam and sir.

15 minutes go by we get up to the window and she is bagging up the food.

We hear her on her earpiece telling people that they are closed and they are out of Chicken.

We tell her it's been 15 minutes and the fresh chicken is out yet she said it hasn't been 15 minutes it's only been 5 minutes and there is a 10 minute wait on the fresh chicken.

She stated to us that the chicken she has cooking is for her as she paid for it and working at fast food they don't give you any discounts at all and she has to pay at full price which is a lie....

She was very rude and ignorant and ghetto the way she kept moving her head around and her hands.

She told us that they close early and to get people out of the drive thru she tells them that there is no Chicken and they will leave.

She then goes on to say that if there was fresh chicken being cooked that she can't sell it because that will make her and her employees late from getting off work that she and her employees would have to wait around until everyone clears the drive through in order to clean up and go home etc.

She was arguing with us at the drive through window and then had the nerve to say make sure you call the number on the receipt and to give me a survey on how I did and you will get some free chicken.

She must be out of her mind if she thinks I'm going to do the survey.

Her name on the recipt was Jessica C. She is a black woman with a messed up looking weave.

I will never go back there again, I will follow up with corporate on this matter.

She doesn't need to be working in fast food if she is going to have that type of attitude with customers.

Let alone she's now getting paid $20/hour and thinks she can talk to her customers any which...

Attention WARNING NOT GO TO THIS THIS FAST FOOD!!! I am a customer service representative myself. My experience dealing at this kind of fast food customer service on Date:Thursday, 8/29/2024 at 2:45 PM. So my two fur babies and I decided to stop and Drive thru order 10 pieces original chickens. They never told me I have to wait 7 minutes and turn out to be 3:25 pm more than 7 minutes waiting in the parking lot. When I did a walk in. The door are locked on purpose so no one cannot do a welcome walk in. Then I had to drive back to the drive through and let them know it’s more than 7 minutes.

First of all, I am not sorry for these kind of attitudes customers service working at this Church’s Texas Chicken located on Florin Road. I empathized and believed everybody has their own personal issues. But doesn’t have to take out on me as a customer. Customer service has raised their tone of voice at me repeatedly three times. I immediately told them please don’t yell at me and requested for a refund. Customer service did not tell me it would be 7 days for to get my refund back to my ATM debit card. They asked me to drive to the window. When there are two vehicles ahead of me with same situation refunding. When it’s my turn at the window. They were rude and did not even apologize to me. There were two persons customers service at the window. Neither one did not offer a kind generous attitude letting me know they can give me extra chicken or something so that I would give them feedback as good customer service. This is the second time that I’ve been mistreated and unwelcome. Sadly I find these ppl are not different. I hope the Church’s Texas Chicken CEO do something about how these hired managers need to be more careful how they handle their Customers because this can lead to losing business and will ended with no customer eating their food. Finalize, customer service did not even ask me if I would like my receipt return when handling me the new receipt. They slammed the window with uglier attitude and rolled eyes to me. said, “7 days your money will be refunded to card.!” I was calmed and did not say a word to them as they handed my debit card back to me. I believed these employees and managers...

DO NOT GO HERE!

I haven't frequented this location, in quite some time, due to a poor experience in the past. In all fairness, I had gone to the drive thru after 9pm (but at least a half hour before closing) and had to wait over 15 minutes to get my order. They readily took my money, but failed to tell me about the wait. But thought that I would give them another try.

WRONG!. I thought that visiting them between 6-6:30 that I would have no problems; my mistake.n I ordered their 14pc. legs and thighs deal and then I added a family mac'n'cheese, a large mac'n'cheese, and a small coleslaw. I drove up to the window and paid the $26 and some change for my order, and proceeded to wait. 5 minutes later with two cars behind me, I was notified that they didn't have enough mac'n'cheese and that I was only going to get the large and would I like to substitute something else.

Well I didn't really, but then the cashier mentioned they had stuffed jalapenos and that a family order would be 16 of them, so I succumbed. What a mistake! Meanwhile the rest of my order sat in a bag while the cashier argued with the folks in the kitchen about running out and how embarrassing it was.

I was then handed the portion of my order and asked to pull aside and wait for the jalapenos. I did and drove away.

I got home to find that not only were the stuffed jalapenos a joke, but I got some pieces of chicken nuggets instead of the 16 jalapenos (again that weren't even as good as the type I buy at the grocery store), but the large mac'n'chesse was only 2/3rds full and looked like it was scrapped out of the pan as it was brunt on some and dry. The small coleslaw was also short (about half full) and lacked any sense of of even being coleslaw. It was basically shredded cabbage and carrots that I had to doctor up.

I wouldn't have even written this review if I had been able to get through on their phone after 5 attempts over an hours time as it was constantly busy; probably other customers calling to complain!
