#1 MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT ON YELP

Went there for the first time based on the yelp reviews and all the great reviews were true. This restaurant is yelp's #1 for a reason. The portions are so large and generous my friend had chichen leftovers for days, while I had fish for 2 days. The staff is so friendly and welcoming that we got there at 7:40pm, 20 minutes before closing so I imagine we'd have to get take out. However the staff said no problem gave us a table and served us without any rushing. We felt special and welcomed but the fact is that they sat down every customer that came in up until 8pm. Closing time for this restaurant is the good old fashioned true closing time businesses used to have, the actual time posted. Furthermore, there was absolutey NO RUSHING us or any other customers. We enjoyed our meal at our leisure and so seemed to everyone else =P

Also great to note, I love seafood, while my companion loves select meats but not any seafood. Sometimes it's hard to find a restaurant we can both enjoy, but this one is one of the few. The restaurant had no problem customizing their chicken breast dish to my friend's liking(no vegetables), so he loved it!

All the staff was friendly and professional and went above and beyond great customer service at every step. Not onIy were the portions delicious and generous, the staff welcomed and served everyone right up until closing without rushing anyone, they customized my fuzzy friend's oder with no problem, but they even gave me some extra tostadas to go when I asked'em at no charge.

This Restaurant Is A True Sacramento Gem! The owners and workers exhibit pride in the food they serve and the jobs they perform. I felt truley honored to be a patron at this yummy joint.

I placed an order by phone by mistake and ask for some accommodation. I understand that it’s a loss on my end. The only thing I didn’t like was that the girl that attended me by the phone treated me with bad customer service and didn’t want to speak with me and didn’t put me on hold and got to hear what she said about that order. I spoke in Spanish and she was saying all the negative thoughts in English, so it got to me all day ruined my day with this bad customer service. I lost $120 dollars and they got to eat it or resale my order.. and bad service. I’m really disappointed!! Never again with...

Drove from Reno to Sacramento as a day trip. Saw the reviews and decided to try this place out. Wait time to get a drink order was 12mins. Order drinks and food together out of fear that no one would come back to check on us. Received our food and not once did anyone other than a waiter from the other side asked if we needed anything. The waitress for our table was chatting with a table of men. Never got any refills. Was never asked if everything was ok. So disappointed. Alberto however was actually working!
