La Michoacana Plus — Restaurant in Sacramento

We went in and waited in line at 9:27 pm on 3/20/22. We finally got to get our order taken at 10:06 p.m. I understand that you close at 10pm but we had been waiting in line for over 30 minutes, not an exaggeration. I asked for an item, fresas con crema and the lady told me she couldn't make it. I asked why she couldn't make it if she just made it for the person in front of me. She said because they've already picked up. Why would you pick up if you see that there is still customers in line? Behind me was 2 other parties as well. Its one thing if we had gotten there close to closing, but when we waited for so long I expect to at least get our order. They had 4 employees, and instead of trying to get the customer orders out, they left one girl to do all orders and the other three were picking up and moving dishes out of the way and talking amongst themselves. In front of the customers like there wasn't 6 of us in the line. They should at least announce that they would not be serving anything other than paletas and juice after 9:30. We literally wasted 30 minutes of time...

Tried coming last year was never, served stood in line about 20 min with only 2 people ahead of me. tried again today and drove 20 min to this location with again, 2 customers in front of me trying ice creams. When I tell you the lady didn’t even acknowledge us. No hello, no be with you in a moment. And proceeds to let each party try multiple flavors without even coming down our way stood there at least ten minutes when it became clear we weren’t wanted or important . So I left again and now I have no intentions of ever returning l. I didn’t want to assume it was a race issue but the vibe I got both times was very much “ we don’t wanna serve your kind” or something. Ew sad because it’s a cute place and looked delicious...

They have a ton of flavors of ice cream and Popsicles, some that were pretty familiar to me as an American, and many that were distinctly Mexican. The ice cream was good! It was creamy and flavorful, and very reasonably priced. I had Ferrero ice cream, and it really tasted like the chocolates. The shop itself is cute and colorful. However, they didn't have the prices posted anywhere, so we had to ask, which was a bit annoying. They also play the music very loudly, which maybe appeals to a certain crowd, but not so much to me.
