Read moreWe did a tour at the Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum with my college art class. They have guided tours guided by docents. It's like walking through pages of a history book. Very beautiful mural paintings created by African American artists adorn the walls. There are also small businesses inside the large building. you can find anything from gorgeous bold African printed handmade clothing to hairstylists to lawyers and an advocacy center.
