McDonald's — Restaurant in Sacramento

I normally don’t like to leave negative feedback but this is something you do need to know before considering to order here for pick up. If you can I strongly recommend to go to Northgate location instead. I ordered this past Sunday 2nd 2025 from the mobile app for inside pick up. After almost an hour of waiting there for the food they never ever even cared to tell you about your order. They just stared at you and ignore you every time you talk to them. After calling the McDonald’s 800 number I was told they supposed to call me from this Norwood location to give me a refund, they did but they never said anything about the refund just that wanted to give me a free meal. When I asked about the refund the person “manager” from the location said will call back again the Tuesday 4th to give me the refund. She never did, after all this 2 days I had to call my back to get my refund dispute resolved. Again….. all that time I was there ignored and waited, in one occasion they fill a bag with fries and something else, called the person name and at the 3rd called in less than a minute that no one answered they put the fries back and throw the food away. If you want to avoid this experience inside please just either buy from drive thru if you don’t mind buying from here or honestly go to Northgate location instead, their staff there is way better than...

I usually don't write one star reviews. My experience today was different. I witnessed many things that shouldn't have happened. I'm an Amazon delivery driver and I use curbside pickup to get lunch occasionally. As I sat waiting for my order I saw a lady banging on the glass after waiting for several minutes and ringing the doorbell insistently. She had the wrong item handed to her in the drive thru and was trying to correct it. Then a food delivery worker arrived and was standing outside waiting for his order. Keep in mind this is happening as I'm waiting for half of my lunch break. A McDonald's employee who went to take trash out GOT LOCKED OUTSIDE and had to wait approximately a minute to be let back inside. After a while the food came out and everything was good. Or so I thought. I ordered a sandwich meal and was greeted by 3 large orders of fries, which normally is a welcoming surprise. Now at this point you're probably thinking getting a correction would be futile. And you'd be right. I attempted to get anyone's attention by ringing the McDonald's Doorbell™. Futile. I have been going to McDonald's since I was 10 8 years old I would say 8 years old and it's changed over the years but now my grandkids if there's anything they will eat is McDonald's they like the fries some what they could be better the burgers they like also but In and Out Burger It Takes the Cake McDonald's we go there we still will go there but I wish the food could be a little bit better and the service a little bit better but I know things change over the years as long as my grandkids like it they can get some nutritional stuff and some good sweet stuff it's all good I live a few blocks from there and I make it a habit to stop and get something for my granddaughter if she's getting out of school been over my house it doesn't matter having a swimming pool party whatever we go by McDonald's but we also go by In-N-Out burger and a few other places I switch up because I don't think anybody likes eating the same food all the time expected to be the best I hope it gets better cuz I forget it's any worse we won't be going there sometime they're out of sodas sometimes they out of this especially the one on Northgate I don't know why but I'm going to keep giving it a try peace out to McDonald's been in my life for almost 60 years hope...
