Seafood House Quan Oc — Restaurant in Sacramento

We came here on 6/23 first time here we ordered chem chép và ốc (mussels and snails) snails were tough hard to eat but the mussels tasted really good. We ordered seafood lẩu (hotpot) it was very spicy the server recommended this over the Thai for spicy level. Not a lot of seafood provided probably cut back or budget. Anyways my mom ordered a mì với rau cải đậu hũ (stir fry noodles with vegetables and tofu) it was VERY salty the server stated in Vietnamese but I will write in English “the stir fry noodles are boiled and salty that way” how is stir fry noodles salty that way without putting salt?? That was a lie anyways he asked if we wanted another option with “different noodles” but with bơ và tỏi (butter and garlic) it came out salty again but I swear they used the same noodles form previous dish and just stir fry it but took out the vegetables. The server seem to not have any sympathy or willing to ask the owners/manager to take it off the check my mom couldn’t eat it. We ended up paying for it. Overheard the owners who gossiping about us with the few other servers not willing to even acknowledge us and ask to take it off the check. I wouldn’t...

If you enjoy fresh seafood served in an unpretentious, beautiful, and flavorful way this is the place to go. I give the food 5 stars. I'm giving my experience as a whole 4 stars as the customer service was mediocre. My friend and I ordered 18 oysters, razor clams, and 2 pounds of crab. We weren't offered a bucket for the shells until midway through the meal. They were out of corn, sausage, and potatoes for the crab boil. So, though the crab was flavorful, we didn't get an entire boil and were charged for it. I understand these are hard times but I feel like restaurants need to deliver what they are advertising. Or at least let you know what they are out of before you order it. It took us forever to get the check, I had to get up and go to the bar for extra napkins, and the bus boys blankly stared at us as we piled plates at the end of our table. like I said, the food here is great and I will come again, but don't expect world class customer...

Just a regular Tuesday night...We waited for nearly 20 minutes, but no one came to take order. But I see they take all the orders as well as the people who come after us...completely ignores us!!!

After that black-haired waitress finally noticed us and came to take order. My auntie just asked "can I order in Vietnamese?" (Because we normally order by phone in Vietnamese). Immediately, she said, the blond waiter knows how to listen to Vietnamese, wait a minute she'll come to order. Then she left. Didn't even give me a chance to quickly look at menu and order in english.

We waited extra 10 mins. But noone came back. Seem like they will never come back lol

And until they brought out the food to another table, and took order for some new customers sitting outside, we got up and left... Just feel bad for my pregnant auntie, she was...
