i-Tea — Restaurant in Sacramento

My info: My fam bam loves Boba. Been to quite a few places.

Purchased: 4 drinks, Taro milk tea added Boba, Pineapple fruit tea w/Pineapple jelly & boba, Strawberry & Mango fruit tea has fresh Strawberry & mango pieces in it, & a Strawberry Blossom (basically strawberry mil tea) w/strawberry heart jelly & added boba.

Opinion: The bobas were soft & chewy the way they're supposed to be. Drink flavors were also good. The fruit teas tasted fruity the way I like with just barely a hint of the tea in it which is what I like. Some places the tea taste is too overwhelming but not the two fruit teas we ordered. The Taro could use more sweetness & the Strawberry Blossom was for my 5 yr old & I will say unfortunately the Strawberry Blossom was a no go. For some reason the tea taste was stronger in the Blossom drink so it was a no go. Otherwise, drinks were pretty good & boba had excellent texture. We didn't order food so review is for drinks only. Knocked off 1 star since the Strawberry Blossom was not good & although we were greeted right away; we needed a few minutes to order. Front lady was helpful but kinda snobby when I asked a question.

Here comes the story:))))) I wanted to try this boba store since I passed by all the time. So I decided to give a try. Came in store, a young lady asked me immediately if I m ready, and I told her it is my first time, let me take a look. Then after like 30 seconds, she asked me again, and I was still not ready. There was nobody in the store but the way she said it felt like she wants to rush me away. I ordered the signature c-1 milk tea and some eggs. Food came fast but you can see in my photo, she left the box open and throw me a plastic bag and walked away... and later on, I tried the boba, was nasty,, throw away right the way. Never come back to this store. Don’t...

The food and drinks are great but the Asian cashier girl needs retraining in customer service. It appears this individual has been inconsiderate/discourteous to other customers for many years. Maybe she is the offspring of the owner which is why her behavior has not been addressed. Please learn to apply hospitality when you’re in the food industry. It is not that hard to take an order. It is also not my job to know what you’re doing when it’s your menu. It is also very intimidating when that girl asked me, “do you know which drink 20%?” . Girl, it’s your job. You tell me which drink you made is 20%. It is not hard to take order and hand customer...
