Vechos is one of the best new restaurant in town! Personally, it's my favorite place to eat. I've shared it with friends and family and so far, everyone loves it and had come back several times.
I think a good burger is hard to find, but their French Onion Melt tops my list! I LOVE French Onion Soup, and this fulfilled my desire for the taste of Onion soup and a really great burger! There's a reason it's so popular! I love that it was served on a croissant. My first thought was that a croissant wouldn't hold up to a BIG burger - it totally holds up!! You've got to try it. So far, all of my friends who've had it loved it.
Looking for a really good French Dip? Vechos is serving up one of the better ones. I've ordered it three times and I've had no complaints at all. No grizzle, no globs of fat, and the meat was perfectly done. Just perfect! I've even ordered it to go, and it was still packed with meat and they sent me home with a little bowl of AuJus that was the perfect amount for lots of dipping!
My husband has been on the hunt for a good Philly Cheese Steak. The search is over. We each ordered one the last time we were there, and they were really tasty. The beef was perfectly seasoned, and it wasn't dried out or grizzly... the meat was really good!! I loved that mine wasn't overly loaded with onions and peppers. I asked them to put a minimal amount and for me, it was the perfect amount. We both saved half of our sandwiches for lunch the next day, and they were just as delicious, if not more so!!
If you like fries, you'll probably like the ones at Vechos. I love their sweet potato fries - they're crispy!! I think they're some of the best sweet potato fries I've had. My husband loves the regular ones. They're both homemade so you can't go wrong either way.
Kevin, the owner and his staff are super nice! I hope they're in business for a really long time because so far, I've been super happy with their food and service. I hope you'll like them as much as we do! Give them...
Read moreWow this new spot is great! My family and I tried the Buffalo Wings (SO GOOD), the onion tower (slightly too fried) but the sauces it came with were great. We also had the Sacramento Kings Burger with tots, the French Onion Soup and the Philly Cheesesteak with garlic fries- all of these items were so tasty and unique recipes. The cheesesteak had SO much steak and was very tasty. The service was 100/100, the owner was very positive, social, willing, lively and friendly. He shared a bit about himself and some of his family's recipes- such a personable guy! The location provides for easy parking and the vibes were wonderful. There is a small Bar top area, about 4-5 indoor tables and an outdoor patio dining area (didn't go out there so not sure how big it is). The owner offered to make us a non-menu item, S'more pizza and it was creative and tasty! There are several tvs playing mostly sports and such a great vibe all around. This will definitely be a go to restaurant for my family and I! Prices were fair and comparable to other restaurants...
Read moreThe food was AMAZING. Excellent presentation, almost 5 star restauraunt worthy on most items (seriously). The Bacon wrapped jalapenos were FIRE. The "Sac Kings" Burger was awesome. Garlic fries were obviously fresh, homemade, and with real garlic. The combo pizza was pretty good. And the salad my gf got was awesome as well. Truly spectacular food. The owner is super friendly, accommodating, funny, and enjoyable to talk to. Its not the best location for a "romantic sit down meal" (sure), but the food is definitely worthy of such.... The location itself has a bad rap from the past business(es) that were there, but do not even think about it. The owner cleaned it up well, and the food is FIRE. It would be YOU that is missing out by not trying this new hidden gem with...
