UPDATE : the owner has replied to my review and although I appreciate their effort in resolving any issues I am dismayed to see that the response is not true. I was not given an option to have a complimentary meal. I only spoke to the worker preparing the food and at the very beginning when I spoke briefly with the store clerk from the other business (adjoined entrance) to see if the restaurant was open. I am going to assume the best and think that the response from the owner is because he/she is confusing me with another customer that was also dissatisfied. However, that would mean that besides me there was someone else dissatisfied with their business.

After reading the reviews from other customers I decided to make the drive to this place in hopes of finding a new place to go for a middle eastern craving that is not too busy. I got half of what I asked for, when I visited the location looked like it was closed since no open sign was on and the restaurant looked empty. I walked in and said hello hoping to get greeted by anyone but no one came out so I had to go to the food/grocery market that share the same entrance to ask the clerk if food services were open. He went to the restaurant side and a gentleman came out. Ordering the food was easy since there was a menu and I wanted to try the pomegranate juice but all the drinks were finished and it was barely 5pm with no one in the establishment. I figured I’d wait for my food since I’ve noticed that in some places when the customer service is terrible the food is amazing. Well that isn’t the case here I went to the car immediately after receiving my food and started to eat and my food was cold as if taken out of the fridge. The food could have been put into a microwave at least to salvage it but it was so salty that I had to throw my food away. I would not recommend this...

So it kinda goes like this... So I have this friend that I am kinda sweet on ...( Yes she's a chick) well she was visiting me at my spot and hadn't eaten in a while... Skinny as a rail tiny lil thing right. So I went out in search of food... Mind you I was starving too. And I came across this little joint and this Katt was sitting outside so I got to talking with dude and he blessed me with a pair of sox cause I wasn't wearing any. And he tells me that he could hook me up with a to go tray at this lil Mediterranean joint. So I asked him if I went in and told them my mission would they hook me up? And he said most likely, so I did. And I was met with stand up men who had the understanding enough to listen to my plight and was not even hesitant to be of gracious help. And I was the hero for about a second.

Now here I sit as I said to the other night to these fine gentlemen with money in hand to give proper thanks to these angel's amongst men. The food here is great and the feeling is welcome and peaceful and kind. If you want to experience exotic Mediterranean cuisine here's the place to be.!!!

Shawarma is not good. There was a hair in my food. The samoon is ok. The old cook from a few years ago was the best. Where did he go?

Hello, but that doesn't "set the record straight." Unlikely does not mean impossible, there was a hair (a short, very curly, black hair) in my food, as simple as that, and your chef was not wearing a hair net during my visit, but since you so insist, the next time I am in the shop to pick up some bread, I will take a photo. "If there was a genuine issue it should have been brought up at the register." Obviously, you have not heard of food take out, and I am not about to drive 45 minutes back to your restaurant for some mediocre shawarma that I wouldn't care to replace or ever eat again. Lastly, baseless is nice way to brush off customers that have experienced a drop in food quality since the last owner. If you require evidence, you...

The lamb kebab is affordable and tasty, but the food takes a long time to be served and the place is not very clean. I found small bones in the meat, yet the lamb was real, well-grilled, and had almost no gamey flavor. Long Review The lamb kebab is reasonably priced for the portion and quite flavorful. Drinks are very cheap if purchased from the market next door. However, the service is slow, and the restaurant overall feels untidy and not very clean. While eating the kebab sandwich, I had to take several small bones out of my mouth, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the meat is genuine lamb, not mixed, and it is grilled well enough to remove almost all of the gamey taste. Communicating with the staff requires using a translator in Arabic, but they seem kind and welcoming.

Most of the reviews on this page are very clearly fake, and the owner paid too much for them. They all have the exact same structure with "reminds me of [random city]" swapped out like Mad Libs. Still, I'm a sucker for a good Middle Eastern bakery (even the ones that use the dubious euphemism "Mediterranean"), so I thought I'd give this place a try. The fresh samoon bread is as good as I expected, but the man'ouche was not -- tasted like it had been baked long ago. The rest of the menu is the kind of nondescript mishmash typical of a place trying to please too many people. The young owners are very nice and seem to be doing a rapid business in take-out and delivery, but they'd distinguish themselves more by sticking to a few things and doing them well.
