Viet Ha Noodles & Grill — Restaurant in Sacramento

I challenge anyone to find a better Bahn-mi anywhere, no seriously anywhere, it will not happen. This Bahn-mi will change your life! I have personally ordered A Bahn-Mi Sandwich in the following cities with the intention of finding one that is better; Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Napa, Sonoma, Is San Francisco, San Jose, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, SLO, Santa Barbara, L.A.&SoCal, Fresno, San Diego, Palm Springs, Reno, Salt Lake, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Colo. Springs, Fort Collins, Albuquerque, KCMO, Nashville, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Boston, Pittsburg, Detroit, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami&Miami Beach. That’s allot of cities with some really excellent cuisine to offer, that’s allot of Bahn-Mi Sandwich’s. This one is the best! Don’t give me wrong Sacramento has an excellent food scene, there are a couple of other restaurants the challenges, and San Francisco definitely has at least two places to come close, found one in Napa, Austin Texas, and Denver, That some may say a Twitter but that depends on your personal preference. As for me, and my humble personal opinion the Bahn-Mi sandwich at Viet Ha noodles & Grill is my favorite. I once bought 7 of them so that I could give them to friends and family to Experience. This is a great little spot right off the main road. From the outside, it looks pretty unassuming, because they’re only tables limited up to 14 people. They also have a bar that stretches from the front to the back, but really hits you is when you walk in you can smell how delicious the food is. We came on a Friday right at noon time, and it was very busy. The ambience feels very hole in the wall, and while they don’t sell any far, the food makes it worth it.

The menu is very intuitive – you either get to choose from a salad, a bowl, rice, or banh mi. Then you get to choose what protein do you want with your meal. I chose to get the pork meal with noodles. It comes with all the fixings of vegetable sides, so it does feel healthier than just eating pure meat.

The food was quite delicious. I love how the savoriness of the meet is offset by the pickled vegetables. Whats really great is how filling the meal is for less than $10. Dined in for pork noodle bowl. It was incredible!

Food: Noodles had perfect consistency, veggies were super fresh, pork portions were huge, perfectly cooked, and seasoned! Box was filling and refreshing.

Portions were so big I had half a bowl to take home.

Service: order meal up front. Staff are so engaging, welcoming, and helpful with answering questions. Very helpful if you have diet restrictions. They really helped me fine something that worked for me. You can mix and match your meals with different rice/noodles/salad, proteins, veggies, such great options.

Atmosphere: fun energetic space. Small but fun. All types of great drinks available in the beverage fridge.

I’m so happy this place exists. Their meals are so fresh and the portions are so generous. I love this place for the gluten intolerant folks too. I honestly think their prices could be a little higher for the quality of everything.
