A Heartfelt Thank You to Los Jarritos' Finest!
As I sit down to write this, I'm still beaming with joy and gratitude, thinking about the unforgettable celebration my family and I experienced at Los Jarritos in Sacramento, CA. My mom's 66th birthday was made truly special by two incredible employees, Johana and Carlos, who went above and beyond to make our day shine.
From the moment we walked in, Carlos and Johana's kindness and attention to detail were palpable. They must have overheard us chatting about mom's special day because they started secretly plotting to make it extra memorable! Despite my attempts to keep things simple due to a tight budget, they surprised me by including my favorite cheese enchiladas with green sauce in our order. Johana's sweet excuse that Carlos didn't want the food to go to waste only added to the warmth of the gesture.
But that was just the beginning! When my son noticed his tacos weren't crispy, Johana insisted on making him a new batch, refusing to take the original plate back. And then, the pièce de résistance – a surprise birthday cake for my mom, complete with a chorus of happy birthday wishes from the entire restaurant!
Johana and Carlos's selflessness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care left me speechless. Their actions reminded me that kindness can have a profound impact on people's lives. We were so moved that we even paid it forward by sharing our extra food with someone in need outside.
To Carlos and Johana, I want to express my deepest gratitude. Your actions embody the true spirit of hospitality and compassion. You made my mom feel like royalty on her special day, and we'll never forget it.
To the management team at Los Jarritos, if you're reading this, please recognize these two amazing employees with a raise, extra paid time off, and public praise. They deserve it!
Thank you again, Johana and Carlos, for creating a memory that will warm our hearts for years to come. We can't wait to come back and experience more of your...

Read moreTaco Nazi! They have mediocre food. They have a 3 tacooption on their menu that is a little less $ than buying singles. Apparently there is a limit (it doesn't say so on the menu). I used to get tacos from there sometimes when we had company. I've been told I can only order 4 or 5 orders of 3 tacos. "The rest you pay for each." She also wanted me to pay $4 for salsa which is free for everyone buying food. Hmmm. Ok. When I told her no, I'll get mine without charge like everyone else, she even came out to see if I'd taken too much salsa... Like i supplied my house for a month! We used to eat there a lot.. Not just for tacos either! Do yourself a favor, find a California Burrito (Folsom Blvd east of Power Inn Rd). Theyhave no problem selling you whatever and however many you want. Way better food, better salsa bar, better attitude... It's worth the...
