River City Deli & Bagels — Restaurant in Sacramento

My company gave them a big order to do not huge but enough for 6 people, and they didn't have anything ready when I got there to pick it up they were still making all the sandwiches, and when they gave me the three coffees they gave me a thing of creamer and all of their sugar stuff wasn't even stopped there was nothing in there but sweet and low so I grabbed a bunch of that and I waited. They asked me what I was waiting for I said I thought you were getting sugar. They said you have some. I said no there were two sugars in there.. one person could use two sugars. He said no that's enough and started going back to whatever he was doing. I said no that's not enough. The lady came out and reached under the counter and gave me more sweet and low. I said some people don't use sweet & low, some people don't use sugar, you got to give an assortment. They said that's good. So I said I guess I'll stop somewhere else and get the sugars. They said thank you. My company will not be ordering from this company again. Poor service poor attitude. They never even greeted me when I came in the door they just talked to each other in Chinese until I started asking about the sugars. They had this tiny like 3-inch hole for garbage smaller than the usual holes that lead to a garbage can. So I asked for a garbage can. He said there was one out on the patio but the door was locked. He said he'll you have to open that. And he never did. So I left my garbage on...

If you're on-the-go, check it out. So far everything I've tried here is good. Lots of choices on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Reasonable prices. Great customer service. Excellent neighborhood location. The breakfast burritos and salsa are delicious. Everyone I know who eats here has their favorites. The only thing I can't rave about is the coffee. If that's all you're in the mood for, stick with your other go-to cafe. A final note, I really appreciate that River City stayed open during the pandemic and did such a good job of providing a safe place to grab a bite. The owners are friendly and caring people. I highly recommend. Update: I stopped by last week to grab one of their delicious breakfast burritos and, oh no! they've stopped making their salsa! Another thing is that their bagels...

4/5 stars Food: I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with no tomatoes. It was about the size of my hand and they were pretty generous with the filling. I was very satisfied with the taste and consistency. Pretty classic stuff, and they did not go wrong!

Service: the service was great. I was greeted warmly by a man and a woman who took my order promptly. They had smiles and made me feel very welcome. It also came out pretty quickly. Thank you!

Atmosphere: it’s a pretty tight spot. They have a sign that says only 3 to 4 people inside at a time, but I noticed there was a patio outside if you would like to enjoy that. Be careful with the door. It’s pretty heavy and bumped me on the way in and out haha.
