The Croissant That Made Me Lose My Lane (Literally!)

This bakery is nothing short of magical a true haven for anyone who loves perfectly balanced flavors in every bite. Their baked goods are so splendid, they practically defy the laws of physics. Case in point: my absolute favorites, the blueberry muffins and the feta & spinach croissant.

I visited last weekend, bright and early for that irresistible, warm out of the oven goodness. One bite of the feta croissant and I was in bliss so distracted, in fact, that I ended up drifting out of my lane and got pulled over! Yes, the croissant was that amazing. Sure, it was the most embarrassing experience of my life, but it just goes to show how powerfully delicious their creations are. We came on a holiday weekend that Friday morning after the 4th of July right on time and we were the first customers. We had a sampling of most of the different pastries and we're not disappointed in any of them. The scone was really a scone and the Danish, the pecan roll and the cinnamon roll were all real good. The granola was good just a little sweeter than I'm used to but still yummy. They were breaking in a new employee so she was just a little slow but pretty cute at what she was doing. She had the job to put the "bakery open" sign out but instead of pointing it toward the bakery it pointed people across the street. I helped her and...

Unfortunate issue right off the bat: I was stiffed $0.45 after the cashier told me that cash was cheaper, so I paid cash but then she still charged me the price as if it was a credit card. I asked for a receipt and was denied. Please provide receipts for all transactions! However, this place is WONDERFUL!! The baklava was delicious, though I wish the hot chocolate had been a tad sweeter. Very quaint and beautiful location. Highly recommend the baklava, and my friend loved the ham and cheese croissant. I will definitely be back soon to try...
