Hamilton Street Pub — Restaurant in Saginaw

Used to love this place. One of the few spots you could get late night food. Unfortunately, the service is holding this place back from being a place I'd like to return to. They have had a couple great bartenders in the past. Jason was always great. The last time I went, Z93 was hosting the Michigan Made concert. We walked in and sat at a table. Had enough time to decide what we wanted to order. Never greeted by any staff, one of us went to the bar and asked if we could place an order, the bartender said the other employee would come and take our order. It wasn't particularly busy so we didn't mind waiting. We then proceeded to play a couple games of darts, and still were never even greeted. The brunette female bartender who was supposedly going to take our order never even made an attempt to come to our side of the pub. We had a conversation with two other guests at the table next to us, who also never were served, and talked about how great this place could be if the service wasn't so subpar.

We used to frequent this establishment at least a couple times a week. We always loved the food. But with how inconsistent it can be, and how horrible the service has been lately, I will most likely avoid this place in the future. It's really a shame as I would like to see this place succeed. Typically I just vote with my wallet, but I really wonder if the owner of this business realizes how much business is being run off by...

Outstanding! Ambience was relaxing, inviting, and comfortable. They have live music most nights. The patios are nice and spacious. The indoor bar and dining area were decorated nicely and kept. Also the bathroom (mens) was very clean. Upon entry I was greeted by happy, smiling, friendly staff. The menu is easy to read and items a fairly priced. Cook times are reasonable and the food was delicious, fresh, and well portioned! Adrian was the cook during my visit and he is excellent! Not to mention he was a polite and genuinely admirable person. The bar has a great selection of beer on tap as well. Gina, my bartender, actually knows how to pour Guinness correctly! She was a delightful lady and was truly the gatekeeper to my experience! Chris, the manager, adds a dynamic that you don't find most places. He was engaging, energetic, and charismatic! Where do I start? I guess with telling you to not go there.

The bartender was rude. We sat in a near empty bar for over 40 minutes and finally got up to get our drinks.

Don't expect a menu on the table or cocktail napkins. Everything is on you to go up and ask. And you are greeted with a snotty female bartender that's too busy talking to her friends who work there.

I give the food a ZERO. the cook cant read or the bartender doesnt care. Ask for a burger with no cheese? Explain 3 times.. I WANT NO CHEESE. Tadah!! Have a burger with nadty processed cheese. Want nachos with no jalapeños, tomatoes, and onons? Tadah!! We make it how we want. Out of ketchup? Yup! Or too lazy to find it.
