As a huge foodie, I have to say, I’m beyond impressed! I was a little skeptical at first, but wow, this place blew me away! I ordered the lamb and chicken dinner, and the plate was absolutely packed with meat and food. There was even meat hidden under the fries and salad! 😂 Every bite was packed with flavor—even the fries and salad were bursting with taste! It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! 😂🤣 And all of this for just $13 and change. The portions were huge, the food was amazing, and the price was unbeatable! This is definitely the best Mediterranean spot in Saginaw. Highly recommend checking it out—I’ll definitely be back! It’s officially made its way into my top five favorite places to eat in Saginaw. Thanks for an incredible meal! Edit: I returned on opening day and noticed a significant change in the experience. The staff was different, and I don’t believe the owner was present, which may have contributed to the shift in quality. Unfortunately, the meal was a letdown compared to my first visit. The fries were overly hard and crunchy, the salad lacked flavor, and it seemed to consist mostly of onions with no dressing. The portion of meat was smaller, overcooked, and there was barely any sauce. The overall taste was a far cry from the flavorful, satisfying meal I had before. The staff appeared inexperienced, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Sadly, I ended up discarding the food as it was not enjoyable. Because of this, I’m revising my initial five-star rating to three stars. While this experience was disappointing, I’m willing to give them another chance in the future, hoping they can redeem themselves.

By far the best Gyro I have had! The size is huge and makes you feel like the economy is better lol. The flavor is there! ALL UP AND THROUGH THERE🤗 I live out by Meijer on Bay and my fries were still Crispy! Down to the last bite. HOW?? The green tea Goodt. I can't wait to try the rice and lamb/chicken! I can order everything on the menu with out any beef , pork, seafood shenanigans! 10/10 would recommend. (Please don't change) for the worst. PS. I never not use ketchup on fries. I didn't need not even a little! 4-15-25 I went back for another Gyro. This time I needed my sauce on the side so I can fix it later at work. The owner told me to come inside so I can watch him make it. These people are amazing! Super nice. They went above and beyond to make my Gyro so that I can put the entire thing together when I was ready! They packed it soooo nice and neat. I can't wait to try the other foods!🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵

We had the chance to visit Halal Munchies for iftar, which also happened to be their grand opening, and they were absolutely pumping out food! Despite the rush, the service was excellent—they took great care of us, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We ordered a mixed combo with fries and salad, a crispy chicken sandwich, and buffalo wings, and everything was fantastic. The portions were huge, making it an incredible value. The mixed combo was packed with flavor, the crispy chicken sandwich had the perfect crunch, and the buffalo wings had just the right amount of heat. It’s exciting to see new restaurants opening up in downtown Saginaw, adding to the city’s vibrancy. And the fact that everything is 100% halal is amazing! We’ll definitely be back. If you’re looking for great halal food, generous portions, and a spot that truly cares about its customers, Halal Munchies is a must-try!

You're gonna want to read this to the end!!

This is my new FAVORITE restaurant in Saginaw, right now!! I love the options for ordering...when ordering in, if you want to have access to the whole menu but maybe you don't want to talk to staff, you can use the kiosk when you 1st walk-in to place your order. The kiosk will print your receipt you can have a seat while you wait for the food. Or you can go up to the counter and place your order with a person. I have been going since they opened every time my order is fast and fresh!!

My favorite meal is the fish over the rice platter with white sauce, hummus, fries and a drink. You have to talk to the staff for this order and tell them to substitute the salad for the fries or they will charge extra for the French fries. The fish was fresh, tender and cooked perfectly, not too crispy, golden, rice was flavorful, not dry. The hummus was moist and had good flavor served with 3 large olives, and 3-4 large Cucumber slices. The French fries were seasoned nicely, just right and hot. I drank a Calypso southern peach lemonade. My go to any citrus drink to pair well with the fish and hummus.

The second dish I order a lot of is the Chicken over the rice platter with white sauce salad, fries, drink, and Tres Leches Cake. The chicken is flavorful, has great color, and is seasoned well. The rice isn't dry and tastes like a dream. The fries are seasoned well and hot, and the salad has a lot of delicious onions and tomatoes. The Tres Leches Cake was perfectly moist and well made the frosting was fluffy and delicious.

I'll be Back gotta try More food off the menu!! Don't be afraid to try new flavors!! On my way now gotta try the Fish Gyros Next!!😋

Sorry no pictures this time....I...

To begin...This is our first time at Halal Munchies and most certainly, WILL NOT be our last!

The nice, man who greeted me was very polite and professional and welcoming which in my opinion is always a great start to going somewhere new and they checked all the boxes on that one! Even the kind offering of the use of their public bathroom, which many places do not have anymore through experience. I had a very brief wait (maybe 10 mins, if that) for our take out - order ahead order. However; we did order a family of 4 worth of food for two adults and two teenagers so the need for time to understood and respected as long as quality is maintained of course, and it was!

The Food is beyond amazing to say the least!! We got the lamb/chicken special with rice/hummus and Falafel (with these AMAZING Green sauce & Chipotle sauces, WERE SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!). The FLAVORS and TASTE of EVERYTHING; from the lamb and chicken to the rice, the hummus! Our kids got burgers (a beef burger and chicken sandwich) which were huge and full of flavor! This restaurant offers MANY options that we look forward to trying in the future from Halal Munchies that should fit anyone in your party, even nuggets and such for the picky eaters (we all got one sometimes!)

The prices are BEYOND AMAZING, AND SUPER AFFORDABLE, ESPECIALLY for the QUALITY and QUANTITY of the food. Big shout out to the two guys in the back there working! They didn't stop or drop a beat the entire time I was in there and the place while not packed did have patrons sitting down inside enjoying their food! We will be back and hungry for my Halal Munchies!

Keep up the great work fam!

(Sorry no photos, could wait to dig in by the time...
