Wow I don't get all the bad reviews. I understand there's a few imperfections like they may hire new waitresses which one was nice and new. She has dark hair and Italian looking..she kind of reminds me of a friend I have.
I ordered a pizza and they forgot to put the high stand out first but they did get it to me after it was placed to me on a oven pizza pan but besides things like this, I don't see a real problem eating here.
I went two times two days in a row so a place has to be pretty damn good if I do even that. I don't go to a place 2 days in a row most times. The meatball sandwich sold me. I liked how it was done like a meatball cake on scali bread and the next day I got a 16 inch cheese. The only imperfection maybe was the crust didn't have as much a crisp to it but the dough is still delicious and everything they have is so that can even be overlooked. At least it wasn't raw but it remained like a biscuity whitish buttery kind of texture. It complimented the pizza fine. The sauce and cheese were perfect and that alone made up for it.
A customer asked for a southern style bisquit and the owner said he didn't know what that was, I found that so funny on the customer and the owners behalf that one would ask that there and the response the owner gave. And I thought their dough sort of tasted like that too in a way in pizza form yet it wasn't a bisquit or cracker crust.
At the very least, they offer a lot of things here, I was surprised a true italian restaurant actually offered both breakfast and Mexican food too. Never seen that in my life going anywhere yet it's here in Saginaw. And normally if a place offered tacos with pizza or pasta, the quality didnt taste as good maybe ok.
To those haters, I would say that maybe you're being too hard on them here. And another that made me laugh is that patrons were supposedly cussing up a storm and acting ghetto. Didn't see that either. I'd comment on it if I did. It's mostly nice older people in an older pretty nice neighborhood. In that area haven't been bothered.
Ok end review...great food and I would trust the steak and cheese too even though I didn't get it here. If i had to guess, it's put in a roll . They might put different stuff in different bread for different sandwiches, that be pretty cool if they did. I don't like as many michigan steak and cheeses but I'd trust this one to be good so that says something judging by the...

We eat here on a regular basis and have had mostly good experiences. Except for the one “southern” waitress that likes to call everyone honey and baby. Even with her being mildly annoying, I have never tipped her less than $10 in the past.
Today, I specifically asked our waitress for crispy hash browns, and without checking the plate she brought them, clearly undercooked. After pleasantly, mind you, asking her to have them recooked, I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my plate to be brought back while my friend was able to eat in front of me. Still no complaints on my end. However when I saw how bad the bacon looked and the fact that the whole plate looked a mess now, I got her attention to say that this was in fact the worst plate I had ever gotten from there.
Without asking what I wanted her to do to rectify it, she attempted to snatch my plate and said she’d have the whole thing remade. I immediately said, “put the plate down - I didn’t say to take it” since I was so hungry and there could have been another solution. She slammed my plate down and said, “Oh honey I’m done dealing with you now.” Exact words.
When I asked to talk to the manager, I was told the owner was on the phone and would be over to help me shortly.
In the meantime, she then proceeded to help everyone else while openly laughing and mocking me. When she saw that I was getting upset, she even told a customer that “at least it was entertainment”, even though I hadn’t said anything negative to her at this point.
When my friend heard her, he immediately stood up to say something to her for being so rude, and upon the owner hearing the eruption, we were simply told to leave and never come back. Although I didn’t hear my friend swear, I was told that’s why I was being asked to leave, and was never allowed to say my side, even though I had said nothing wrong and was practically in tears.
Either way, the experience was horrible and could have been handled much differently, and she knows as well as I do that I have been a practically perfect customer to her before today.
We will never recommend this place to anyone and prior to being “thrown out” we already said we’d never be back. Saginaw has much more to offer than this.
The waitress as well as the owner should be ashamed...
Read moreI gave this place three chances because it's so close to my place, but 3 time was not the charm.
1st the servers are always behind, even when the place is near empty. I don't know if its because they have to work the register, make desert, run food, answer the phone and serve tables or if it's because I've never seen more than 2 working at any given time. The first time I was in there, the servers were so busy one of them picked up the phone and immediately hung up on a person, hoping they wouldn't call back. Who does that?
My second visit I figured I'd get carry out, so I wouldn't have to rely on servers for reasonable service. I ordered the spaghetti, I figured it was pretty to tough to eff that up. For some reason I got these dry noodles that had obviously been sitting out and then re-heated in a pan with oil. My pan fried noodles were then topped with a tomato paste cake, that was so dry it seems to still retain the round shape and edges of the pot it had been in. Unfortunately, the sauce mixed in with the noodles, as concentrated as it was, had zero flavor and the noodles hadn't been seasoned with salt, so the dish was seriously bland.
My last visit, I was like, I'll give their pizza a try figuring maybe that is their niche. So, I get this carry out as well. My mistake, because I didn't check before I left, and of course the pizza crust is completely burnt around the edge and underneath. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes and go back to the restaurant for another pizza, so I didn't bother to see if they'd fix it, but seeing black around the entire outside should be an indication the pizza needs...
