I wanted to see if I could drop off a few prom/homecoming dresses that could use another home or event to be worn, so I called and asked how the process may work. The phone call felt like I was doing them a hassle and that my dresses are probably “out of style” and that’s “not what the girls are buying.” I said well I don’t think I have “old or out of style taste” and that if someone could look before saying that would be appreciated. So I did go in with an open mind of having “out of style dresses”. The what I presume to the owner or worker at least had still the demeanor my dresses are old and said they could not be consigned. Fine. I am alsorecently engaged, so I decided to look at the dresses they had because I ordered two offline and wanted to compare colors and see what they may have. When she dropped me off the in room and asked if I had been shopping before which I have online and based on measurements she said I should size up to 8/10. I have a good understanding women’s fashion sizing and knowledge that wedding dresses do not work the same.…But the way the sizing conversation went it made me feel like as a normal size 4/5, that I need to size up two. Which is fine and understandable but when I told her my size and I said a 27/28 she didn’t know what that was. So I was already like okay…I can do this on my own or that I’m going to not eat for a week to fit into a overpriced, already worn dress. After looking at the dresses, I peaked into the homecoming and prom dress room and there were certainly dresses that the ones I brought in could go next to. Good, if you keep an open mind and want to start exploring wedding or prom dress shopping, but I would seek second opinions or other stores to get a feel for your fit,...

My experience was AMAZING and because of it, I said YES TO THE DRESS!! I had just left David's Bridal and did see a beautiful dress, but wanted to shop around for better deals (to pay thousands and thousands for a dress you're only going to wear once is not for me, but that's just me, no hate to anyone else 😊)and my best friend recommended this place to me, although I have seen it before driving down davenport, I didnt know they had beautiful dresses the same that you would find at a David's Bridal or Bridal by Viper. The owner was attentive, engaging, helpful and so knowledgeable on dresses, alterations, just everything! She truly made this an easy pick for me and was even had my patience with my 3yr old (he missed nap time lol) This was a 5/5 experience and I highly recommend this place because not only did I get a BEAUTIFUL dress, I also got a great deal and price on it that just could not be...

I assisted a friend of mine for an impromptu bridal dress try on. Mind you we've been to 2 high end bridal boutiques within the great lakes bay region from bay city to birch run before hand... Kathy helped us from beginning to end, she was fast, efficient, even with a full house and the only one working, she was attentive, helpful, and the bride left with her dress, and extremely happy. I highly recommend , not only for expertise, but for price, attention to detail, and extremely friendly environment. Thank you Kathy for helping "D" find her perfect dress.
