Dollar General — Local services in Saginaw

Wow. I don't even know where to start with this place. I guess I'll go with the thing that is most striking to ME personally. Upon entering, this stores interior is extremely dark/dim. Once your eyes adjust to the shadowy atmosphere, you are taken aback by the MESS that is strewn about this entire store. On a GOOD day, the shelving is MAYBE 65% stocked. Mind you, this is NOT for lack of goods; as you will be skirting and tripping over boxes of the merchandise that the shelves are without-for your entire visit. If you need something you don't see in stock; and visit the front of the store in order to inquire about; you will have to patiently wait for whichever "employees " scheduled for that day, to finish conversing with one another. Only to be snubbed and eye rolled at. The answer as to the availability and/or location of what you are in need of always seems to be: "We out. More might be coming on tha next truck." Before returning their engaging conversation. This exchange is made all the more frustrating because you can SEE an entire carton on the floor in the middle in the aisle OF THE GOODS YOU ASKED ABOUT!

In short, this store is in a state of constant disarray, severely lacking in items and staffed with a bunch of slackers. You're better off going the extra 1/8 of a mile further up Bay rd to the...

Your building is falling apart and your trash is piled up in front. You're a blight on the neighborhood. Clean up your site or get out of our town. You're gross and damaging to the community. It's not that hard to pick up your trash.

Continues to be an eyesore. The opening of these stores signals a definite downturn for any area, and they drag down the neighborhood with their sloppy, uncared for lots.

Clean up your site. Clean the weeds and prune the shrubs. You're a blight on the neighborhood. Be a better neighbor.

The aisle are always crowded with merchandise in boxes. There's always two people at the registere.. One working and the other one on their phone. Time to get a real manager up in there.
