Murf's Homestyle Togo — Restaurant in Saint Augustine

Wish I could give it 10 stars! We picked up Murf’s Togo for the whole family. It traveled perfectly back to New Smyrna thanks to the careful packaging. I have to start with the Pork Chops!!! OMG! I’m not a huge fan of chops but these were out of this world! The gravy was icing on the cake. The kids had chicken strips but these weren’t your regular chicken strips....these were ‘grown up worthy’ chicken strips. The chopped steak was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice in the onion gravy. We all had to try the meatloaf and it was amazing as well. For sides we recommend....Mac and cheese, Gouda grits, hash brown casserole, greens and the Brussel sprouts!! Remember back in the day when the school cafeteria workers got there early to make those buttery yeast rolls??? Yep! The same taste! An amazing southern style kitchen vibe from entry in the older homestyle restaurant. Greeted with the chime of a bell on the door and friendly faves with warm smiles. The food is to say the least an exquisite balance of flavor and offerings from small staples to full fixin's By far my favorite dish is Murf's meatloaf with his gouda grits. A master piece of a classic staple that you shouldn't miss out on putting together a balance of tender and juicy meet balanced well with a homemade onion gravy.

Anyone visiting our quaint little city should take the time to head just outside of historic downtown to meet murf and enjoy a dish that will make you feel you are sitting in their home as part of the family. I look forward to seeing what they have to share and offer us all...

Good gracious!! So excited to have these guys doing their thing!! Picked up dinner for the first time today and it definitely did not disappoint!! Everything was perfect. I got the meatloaf with hash brown casserole and Mac-n-cheese. My wife got the chicken pot pie. Every was delicious. Great size portions at a great price which means so much especially right now. I got up sold on deserts when I picked it up. Got the fried cherry pie for me and fried apple pie for my wife. Dang man. So good!! Oh and got a side of greens too. Like everything else, fantastic!! Keep doing what you’re doing guys!!
