LaRosa's Pizza St. Bernard — Restaurant in Saint Bernard

I’m Cincinnati both and raised and grew up eating this pizza. But I was never a fan before. I wasn’t crazy about their crust and (as a vegetarian) I was very unhappy to find pepperoni hiding under the cheese on what I thought was a plain pizza.

But this place knocked it out of the park for us when we visited to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We had no problem getting a table on a gloomy Saturday evening in February. This restaurant is family friendly - the perfect place for us. High chair for the kiddo, very friendly service and a couple other families in the place (not overly crowded or loud!).

We decided to get two medium pizzas. I knew I wanted to try one of the other crusts they offered. So we ordered the bacon chicken ranch pizza with medium crust and the meat lovers pizza with thick crust. We loved it all! While dad preferred the meat lovers, hubby and I were crazy about the ranch! Also both the medium and thick crusts were fantastic! So much better than their original thin. It had a great chee to it, instead of being overly crunchy.

My order was wrong. My pizza had to be made over. I had to wait again the waitress didn't ask me or my husband if we would like something free like a appetizer while we wait bc it was either her fault or the ppl making the pizza fault. When the pizza finally came they rushed it so it wasn't some the buttom of the dough was still light, no extra sauce or extra cheese on it like I had requested and it wasn't on the garlic crust nore was it pan. The waitress was nice but I feel she was overwhelmed w the work. Me and my husband said how did she get the pizza wrong when she wrote down our order and she repeated it back to us. So that's why we thought the person making it got it wrong. However, being a waitress myself I would have apologized and offered something for free while my customer waited. The server was doing her job but apparently the kitchen people were not doing their job tonight. Went in for the Monday night spaghetti special at 8:30 p.m. and as of 9:30 p.m. I have not received my spaghetti. I've only received a salad and my drink. I was told that the kitchen is making fresh spaghetti for me but it should not take an hour to do that as of 9:30 I'm leaving the building going somewhere else there are people that came in after I was seated and they do have their food so I'm not sure what the holdup is calling the corporate number to file complaint. The server was good and kept checking on me and reassuring me that my food was on its way but it never came I don't know if this kitchen decided to stop cooking at 8:30 or what...
