I just want to preface and say that I absolutely love Mediterranean food and came to this place based on the 5 star reviews. But this place was really a let down. First, I had asked the owner about the special meals that were uploaded on Google by other users. It wasn't anything special other than how it was plated and I thought it would be a good way to try the different varieties. He had zero interest in fixing us a special but instead we had to order directly from the menu (it looks like though if you are Middle Eastern or Lebanese, he will hook you up and treat you well). Fine, not a big deal. However, the food was subpar, the rice was clunky, and the meat was terrible quality. I get that inflation and food prices are high but the food was awful to the point where the owner asked why I did not finish the food. I had to be polite and tell him I was full but it was the first time in a while that I could not finish my food. The same with my friend as well.

What made me actually really annoyed with Ahmed, the owner, was when he had pointed to his small fridge at the back of the restaurant and said, "Please feel free to grab anything that you want from the fridge." It was my understanding from the reviews that he charges for water, and while I have no issues paying nor did I expect free complimentary drinks, he made it sound like the drinks were on the house. My friend thought so too -- until we he had received the bill and he charged us for it. We took his kindness as greedy.

A red flag should have been that we were the only ones dining on what should be a busy lunch day. That says a lot about a restaurant. Very disappointed in the food and the service. There are MUCH better Mediterranean foods...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Culinary Gem in Cincinnati!

What an unforgettable dining experience at Five Star Mediterranean Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality set the tone for an amazing evening. The food? Absolutely incredible! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors—fresh, aromatic, and beautifully presented. The hummus was creamy perfection, the grilled kebabs juicy and tender, and the baklava? A sweet, flaky masterpiece.

But what truly made our night exceptional was Ahmad! His service was top-tier—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He guided us through the menu with passion, offered spot-on recommendations, and ensured every detail was flawless. His smile and enthusiasm added so much warmth to the meal—it felt like dining with family.

The ambiance is equally inviting, with chic yet cozy decor and a lively Mediterranean vibe. Whether you’re here for a date night, family dinner, or celebration, this place delivers.

Five Star Mediterranean Restaurant is a must-visit in Cincinnati. Outstanding food, stellar service, and a memorable experience. We’ll be back soon—thank you for an incredible evening!

It's rare to come across such an incredible place for the most delicious and authentic meal. Five Stars Mediterranean Restaurant is a hidden GEM in Cincinnati. The Chef/owner greeted and treated us like family (he likes 😁) and chatted with us about his establishment. We started with the humus. It was prepared from scratch and tasted incredible. Chef then suggested we try the chicken tawook and it did NOT disappoint. The chicken was fresh, savory and perfectly cooked. Every single ingredient used was fresh. He then brought out a spicy relish and a garlic paste. These dishes did not need any added sauces as they were perfect as is, however, the spicy relish and garlic paste added another level of flavor to each bite! My son had the Philly Cheese Steak and he said its the best he's ever had (even in Philly). Cincinnati - you're very fortunate to have this GEM here. If he comes to Florida, we'll never let him go! For the tourist visiting the area, do yourself a favor and go. There's public parking across the street. You won't have a better meal...
