I imagine it is the downward spiral of poor work ethic and lacking pride in what one does… but either way the employees don’t work for free. When I started my first job it was bussing tables for $3.85/hour (which was minimum wage in Missouri then. I am certain that has increased since the early 1990’s…) yet I had pride in what I did and how it was done. This place is the worst and now I have food poisoning from what we ordered from this restaurant last night. The best part… the order was completely incorrect and even missing items we paid extra for! Chipotle has fallen and it is due to whomever cannot do the bare minimum of what their job entails: Read order, make order (as ordered), give to ÜberEats driver and collect a paycheck. I am baffled and it has come to this. Sure, I get it… everyone loves Chipotle, but do we really? We did… not anymore. I’m contacting corporate for a formal complaint. If there were potential food allergy issues this could have been a wrongful death lawsuit and that’s just bad press for anyone, especially the dead guy.

1/16/24 Chipotle kicking off the new year with half portions. This location has a problem. 11/1 updated review. In the six months they have been open my experience has been hit or miss. Sometimes they don’t open on time, sometimes they are out of items, sometimes they close early. Tonight I ordered for drive through pickup. Waited forever no one manning the window. Finally some guy turns toward the window, sees me and then turns around and walks away. Eventually a girl helped me but our order ended up short the extra tortilla, burrito was barely wrapped, bowl lid was loose and leaked all over. 4/13 nice new location, line was long but with the line to the door we had our food in twenty minutes. Great quality, clean, plenty of portion, the pick up window looked very efficient. There was no delay on app pickup orders. They were out of chips which seems to be a common Chipotle problem now days. So happy to have one nearby. They also have. A nice patio out front. Next to the parking lot but not near a road.

I mean they’re both green. This place is crazy. Why can’t you get an order right?

The last three or four times I’ve ordered there. They’ve left something out of my bowl. Today I pulled through to get back to work and when I got back to work, there was no rice or beans in the bowl. It was not even half full when I called to complain, I was told to bring it back and they would fix it. OK well I don’t have time to bring it back now. I’m working so should I not eat today and bring it back tonight when it’s bad their customer service stinks. They should’ve taken my name and offered to make it again another day for me. Giving one star is a bit generous. Like many of the other reviews have stated, this is the worst Chipotle location we’ve ever been to. We were patient and more forgiving when they first opened but it’s been open for a year now with little to no improvement. They’re always understaffed, the staff is rude, the place could be cleaner for sure and they’re always out of supplies. Tonight I pulled up for an online order that they hadn’t even started making 35 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. It was also another occasion of pulling up to the window and nobody coming to the window for several minutes, someone looking at me from inside but instead of saying anything, they walked away. Someone else finally came to the window and told me they were about half an hour behind on orders and only taking online orders. I explained that I had placed an online order already and he said he’d go look for it. 10 minutes later they asked me to come inside to get my order instead. I had to wait in line until they could make it. They rudely turned away other customers in the meantime, telling them they were only accepting online orders. I understand being frustrated with the circumstances but nobody was being mean or was upset with them, so they way they were speaking to everyone waiting or walking in just seemed extreme. They were out of some of the food for my order and instead of saying anything just made my order without and sealed it. I didn’t notice until I got home but had no desire to go back in and deal with that. And even though they made it while I was there and I live close by it was mostly cold when I opened it. We were so excited to see a Chipotle in our area, but it is sadly the worst one we've ever been to, and we won't be back. The owner must not read these because nothing has changed from any of our visits, and when I read what other people have written, I see complaints consistent with our experiences.

You need new staff! Don't tolerate rude customer service and unsafe food handling. (wearing gloves but touching their bodies, or the register, and then the food) Every food container or bag we've received has made me cringe when we go to eat it. There's food smeared on everything.

One visit I saw a sign on the door that said "Online Only" I went inside to ask about it and the woman said rudely "what does the sign say?!?!!" I don't understand why these people come to work? They hate their job and seem to dislike people.

They are annoyed that they have customers, they are flustered, stressed, chaotic, visibly agitated like they are overwhelmed constantly.

They are always out of something, and they give the smallest portions I've ever seen at a Chipotle every time the scoop of chicken or any kind of protein is half of what you are served at other locations.

We have never dined in because it is such a negative experience to watch the interaction of staff, and the customers that you can see are shocked and disappointed as they go through the line.

Yet right next door at the other food vendors, there's a completely pleasant experience with the staff and the food. This Chipotle is the Titanic heading toward an iceberg if the owner doesn't start implementing...

I visited this location around 5:50pm on June 27th, 2024 with my newborn daughter. Unfortunately, for this location to be SO new the staff is clearly old workers and OVER IT!! Literally, everyone upfronts need to be put far in the back on inventory or something. Every one upfront acted as if the customers coming in to spend their hard earned money did something wrong by simply placing an order. What I don't get about this new generations of working fast food is the attitudes out the gate. Like, "what's wrong?" who hurt you? I remembered working fast food in 2011 while in high school and knew exactly what I signed up for and was happy to be doing it with a visible smile on my face. Nodaway's everyone forgets if it's NOT for us customers stopping in to spend OUR money that they wouldn't be able to get scheduled to work the hours they work/receive a paycheck. This location needs an ENTIRE NEW staff if the owner's of this location wish to succeeds in the right direction. I can't imagine the amount of money the front staff workers has lost this company with their negative personalities. With that being said, I hope that the supervisor of this location take a minute to sit that entire staff down and have a VERY SERIOUS conversation with them and stress the importance of good customer service in a world full of inflation. Because let's be real. . .They are not the ONLY Chipotle location in St. Louis!! If you have cam across my review please drive the extra miles to a different location.
