My family was ordering in person on 1/27/2024 & my wife order a #2 without pickles. Then I order a grilled chicken wrap just cheese, no lettuce or cabbage & the young girl taking my order said No Special Orders to me. I said you just took the pickles of my #2 order, & I've done this @ 4 area St. Louis, MO Chick-fil-A & all you need to do is Red Flag that items since other restaurants told me to do it like that. She said no. I said could you ask your manager. You're saving money on Cabbage & Lettuce. I seen her go to her manager & I could read her managers' lips, "We Don't Do Any Special F_ _ _ _ N Orders Here." The young gal said my manager said No, I said I saw what she just said to you, no problem, I don't want you to loose your job over my order. She said Thanks. So I had to root through my grilled chicken wrap because I was sharing it with my 3 year old daughter & she will only eat grilled chicken with cheese & no cabbage & lettuce. Our food was Lukewarm food, & took about 20 minutes to get drink refills. They seem to ignore us for our refill & did to others. Read moreI placed a rather large order which was expensive The total of the order came up to $96. On three of the sandwichs, I requested no pickles. Also ordered three of their cherry berry sprites. When I got home with my order the sandwiches all had pickles on them and the sprites tasted horrible. I will admit I was a little irritated having to go back to the store to get the items remade especially when so much was spent on it. One of the managers, a tall gentleman that I didn't catch his name helped me out with my complaint. He had the sandwiches remade and the drinks remade. He also threw in an order of nuggets and a gift card. I primarily made this post to show my gratitude for him making things right. Not only did he make them right, he also added those two extra things. This was excellent customer service and in my mind this is the way situations like this need to be handled. There are a lot of places that would have not going to these lenghts for customer satisfaction. This was refreshing to see and I wish all places took this approach when it comes to their customer service. Read moreI'm much more patient than I was in my younger years and since I have only been to a CFA that has been operating for YEARS, I don't know what hiccups they had with opening. As a realist, I'm sure teens doing super fast orders with no mistakes did not happen on opening day for any of them. I wouldn't, nor my sons, have clocked in day 1 and been as good as we are all accustomed to. I'm giving them time and grace because we(this community) BOMBARDED that place DAILY since the moment the door was unlocked for the first customer. I've been a business owner and I know how hard it is to train different people with different abilities. My suggestion, if you don't want to go through the toddler phase with them, go elsewhere until they grow up some. I'll keep going because, in this economy, I'm glad to see places hiring and bringing businesses to our community. I wonder how many of us, in the reviews, could go clock in there and work like the older stores. I'll be the first to tell you, you'll get your correct order but it's gonna be slow because I have no idea what I would be doing. I would get faster with time but it would take time.
