Peking Villa — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

I order from this restaurant often and was shocked to find out how they really feel about there customers!! I ordered items from this restaurant and was given the wrong order. The young lady that takes the orders refused to put the manager of the phone saying that she repeated the order back to me. She was very rude and insisted that I made a different order as if I didn't know what I ordered . I reminded she our the conversation and she repeated the order to me again incorrectly. When I brought this to her attention she because even more rude and disrespectful. They refused to correct the order or offer any kind of compensation even being so indignant as to agree that I should tell all my friends that order from this restaurant about this unsatisfactory experience because they have a lot of other customer that order from them. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are not concerned in any way shape or fashion about making there customer happy. At a time where so many business our in need of our support to stay afloat, this business should be ashamed of themselves. Coming back to update: After my last visit, I endured the worst food poisoning in my entire life. I ordered their house special Lo Mein with Pork, Chicken and Shrimp. I can’t be sure which or what was bad, but I’m really leaning towards the pork. I will never be able to bring myself back. Additionally, during the height of the Covid pandemic, they blocked off the entire restaurant at the entrance with a wooden kiosk. You can no longer dine in, and they appear to be keeping it that way, even after the pandemic has slowed. You basically enter into a blocked in vestibule with a make-shift carry out station with a sliding door to make exchanges through. Something about not being able to see the restaurant anymore, tied with that awful food poisoning…makes me wonder what the conditions are these days.

I really enjoyed the food at this location, but my thoughts have changed since last Wednesday. I stopped in to pick up food, and there was a black female having some sort of medical emergency in the lobby. I alerted the Asian female employee of the situation and told her to call 911. Instead she looked out, shook her head and said, “you have to go.” I was appalled at the treatment. I then called for emergency help and waited for the police/EMS to arrive. By the way, the employee never called nor showed concern.

It hurt my heart to see the way the black female was mistreated and disregarded. As I thought about it, the only power I have is to discontinue my patronage to this restaurant and make you all aware of what occurred.
