Had the absolute worst pick up experience of my life.
Used the Cloverleaf app to make an online order. It was a good size order too. Set order to be ready for 5:30pm. Got to store around 5:20pm. Got to counter and told manager Nick my name and he said it would be ready shortly. I was 10 minutes early, so no problem at all. Meanwhile another gentleman had been waiting there over an hour for a pizza that was also supposed to be ready at a set time. From 5:20-5:45pm, manager Nick must of asked me 10x if I either had been helped or if my name was insert several different female names when I repeatedly told him my name was Erica. Then at about 5:50, another worker comes out, asks if I’ve been helped, and I told him I was but I’m still waiting for my order that was supposed to be ready at 5:30pm. Worker goes back to check and comes back out to tell me that NO ONE HAS EVEN STARTED MY ORDER. He apologizes and tells me it will be about another 15 minutes. Since I already had paid online, I had no choice to wait otherwise I would have probably walked out. Manager Nick came back out and asked me again if I had been helped and if my name was *insert another females name”. I then reminded him how long I have been here waiting. He blamed the screw up on “new employees”. While I’m still waiting I’m watching other people get their pizzas, but also other better getting frustrated with being ignored or forgotten about. Read moreOrdered pizza early on New Years Eve, picked up our order by 5:20pm and both pizzas are burnt, antipasto salad is missing meat but has mound of Garbanzo beans. I call back to request order be remade. I’m told it will now be 45 minutes since the “board was full.” Ok, I already paid so I’ll wait. Go into the location after the quoted 45 minutes to be questioned by 2 workers that felt our food was their standard, asked me if I had ordered here before (14 times this year) to which I replied “all the time so I know the quality to expect.” The manager, Nick with the boom box chain who must be trying out for Flavor Flav at midnight, grabs a piece of burnt pizza and starts eating it telling me how hungry he is. I have to wait another 25 minutes for my pizza to be remade, after the quoted 45, and I get to see how additional customers are treated, including sending the manager to give a refund but it is actually not the manager, it is the back pizza twirler with raw dough in his hand operating the cash register/issuing refunds, while Nick must have been in back practicing his counts. The customer suggested he go put the raw dough down for sanitary reasons before continuing accepting cash from same customer. Seems like the owner Jeff needs to re-evaluate who he gives management positions to and I will take my pizza business to one of the 10+ competitors in our area that has hygiene and customer...
Read moreThe foods fine but the service when you have an issue terrible. I placed an order for 3 large pizzas on Monday 7/24 and paid ahead of time with my card. I called back 2 days later on Wednesday (7/26) to get the order cancelled and my card refunded. I was told it would take 2-3 business days since it's the weekend it could be Tues till I get my money back, no big deal. I wait all the way until the following Thursday (7/31) and still no refund, at this point I go up to the location to speak with a shift lead or key holder and I'm told that only the store manager or owner can process refunds and they won't be back until Monday. I end up going back in Wednesday 8/9 to speak with a different manager he processes my refund and says "it should be back by the end of the day" it wasn't and finally the money came back to my account on this morning Sat 8/11... The fact the I had to call numerous times and come up there in person twice over the span of almost 3 weeks to get a refund that I was told initially was already being processed is ridiculous. Ill go back if the owner sees this and wants to make it right but if not I'll be going the location off Mack in Grosse Pointe.
