Typical , our original waitress was pleasant and did everything right. We waited for our food for about 15-20 minutes. However after about 10-15 minutes into eating our food an older white lady came over to ask us if we were finished The person I was dining with said no not yet she still took his plate with the lobster he was eating off the table and walked away with it. Of course I was upset because as a tourist to Saint Croix he was my guest showing me around and I treated him to that lunch which ended up costing me $230 only to be forced out when that lady removed his plate with his lobster off the table sad thing is it was not even busy. Most of the tables were empty a white couple we met there only had burgers and fries however they weren't forced out nor did their food be removed from the table before they were done. As a matter of fact we even left them there. Moving forward we had ordered crab cakes for appetizers I must say they were the best I ever had they were so good I ordered two extra to take back to my hotel with me for my mom and sister. Would I ever eat there again? no I walked away feeling like my money was welcome but we weren't. It's not even like we were drunk or loud

My friends and I stopped by this restaurant for lunch yesterday. We made reservations but didn’t actually need them. We were seated right away. The atmosphere and the view are absolutely marvelous! It is essentially right on the beach so there’s a nice sea breeze as well as the view of the ocean. Due to it having an open space to the outdoors, there were a lot of flies buzzing around our table but it did not stop us from having a good time. The restaurant has nice vibes in general. Our server, Sarah, was friendly and professional. She greeted us with a smile and answered all of our questions. Our food and drinks were served in a timely manner. The food was enjoyable. Everything had the right balance of flavor, texture, and moistness. They were plated nicely as well. We enjoyed our visit and will visit again.

Visiting St. Croix and heard great things about the Landing. Let me say this first, it did not disappoint! I had the fish and chips, and the wife had Mahi Mahi salad. Honestly, one of the best fish and chips I’ve EVER had. The batter was light, crispy, and seasoning was just perfect. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? The wait times were ridiculous! We arrived at 6pm. Waited 40 minutes for a table, not a big deal. Ordered our food within 10 minutes of sitting down, perfect. But our food did not arrive until 8pm…they close at 8. They didn’t kick anyone out and the kitchen kept pushing out dishes until about 9pm. The wait time was my only negative but it was a BIG one. Great food, great music, great drinks, great service…just 1 hour and 20 minutes is a bit much waiting for food.

Leatherback Landing is a fantastic place with great beer and a ridiculous view, literally steps from a beautiful beach. It's perfect. The friendly service is just as good as the view. My wife and I went there last week on a Wednesday with our friends and watched the sunset on the bay, beer in hand. After sunset there was live music in the lawn area next to the bar, illuminated with beautiful hanging lights, tons of picnic tables. We ordered food (also great) and enjoyed beers and music, with waves crashing in the background. It was such a great night, the perfect place to spend our last night on St. Croix. We STRONGLY recommend this place to everyone. But that wasn't all of it. My wife accidentally left her phone there that night (we realized this later). We had early flights the next morning so we thought it was a lost cause. I called the bar the next day when we were in Miami, and lo and behold, someone had turned it in to the bar. Troy (who is awesome) IMMEDIATELY offered to mail the phone to us. He took my address and went out of his way to go to the post office that day for us, without hesitation. Of course we offered to pay (and we will), but he just told us to make sure we got it first. What's touching is that we're tourists who went there once. He had no incentive to help us at that point, other than the goodness in his heart. Thanks Troy. If anyone I know has plans to visit St. Croix, I'm sending...

Our first experience here went well, and since we were staying nearby we stopped for a second. We were at the beach and walked across the road for drinks and lunch. The restaurant was busy but we decided to put in our order at the takeout window anyway. After about 45 minutes we inquired about our order. The bartender, who was busy and kind, assured us that it would be coming soon. After seeing people who had come after us leave with food, we inquired again. Somehow our order had been lost. This came to our realization after an hour of waiting. I assumed that as best practice would dictate, the owner would somehow make this right for us as, instead of enjoying time with the family on the beach, we waited for over an hour. She did absolutely nothing to make it right for us other than put our order in next. Once our order was placed, it took about 5 to 10 minutes to come out. The food was good, but I was highly disappointed that once a mistake was realized, there was nothing done to rectify it. The bartender did offer a few extra drinks as we continued to wait. In my experience, mistakes happen to the best of us. But when they do happen, you apologize and make it right. This did not happen. We stayed nearby for about a week and would have loved to have continued to get food and drinks from there; however, we went to the restaurant that was just a little further away, Off The Wall, and they were...
