Very lazy service and disappointing food. Came in Saturday morning on the 12th, ordered 2 drinks and 2 burritos. 1 bacon, 1 sausage. The food came out quick but when the girl delivered our food she asked if we'd ordered drinks to which I said yes. "oh well then you can grab them from inside when they're ready" Her tone was nice but there's a lot of different ways she could've said that. I thought it was weird that she delivered the food but no drinks but I gave the benefit of the doubt since it's Saturday morning and I can't see how busy it is inside so maybe they were swamped. I was very disappointed to walk in and see that there was no line, my drinks sitting on the counter and the baristas chatting each other up a storm about their weekend. Having worked food service for almost 4 years and having managed a coffee shop, my rule of thumb was. If you can walk out food you can walk out drinks. If I spend $38 for 2 drinks and 2 burritos I feel the least that could be done is walking everything to my table. To have time for a conversation but not give full service is ridiculous. The burritos themselves were pretty low quality, super dry and there was 1 strip of bacon in my burrito and the sausage burrito looked like someone ripped up a couple microwaveable patties and stuffed them in a tortilla. The fact you guys ask for a tip is honestly laughable. If anybody wants an actual coffee shop experience there's a place called Gaias that out does Feel Love Coffee...
Read moreFeel Love Coffee has excellent coffee and the pastries are homemade. I really love the free-spirit environment they have created here that encourages people to be themselves and enjoy coffee and friends.
all pastries are made in house and I think they use fair-trade coffee. The environment is fantastic. The music is always complimentary to allowing you to focus or relax - never too invasive. However, this location in the evenings shares a building with the Hot Yoga place and their bass booms excessively, making focus and conversations difficult.
The only big drawback for me is the price $$$. Starbucks is known for having the world's most expensive mocha. A venti (large) white mocha at Starbucks is $4.75.
The same size large white mocha at Feel Love is $6.75!! and Feel Love adds on extra for any specialized milks, making your drink reach a max of $9.95. Kind of a penalty for those who can't have dairy.
I really like Feel Love's coffee, but honestly, for the cost of three white mochas, I could buy two week's worth of ingredients and make my own at home. That might not be a fair argument or comparison because you are paying for the environmental esthetics when you buy food anywhere. But prices between $6.75 and $9.95 for a single coffee is really ludicrous to me.
Don't get me wrong, I love Feel Love Coffee, it's just on the high-high end of the price point.

Read moreI continue to have negative experiences at this coffee shop which is really unfortunate since I’m an avid coffee lover and a local who was so excited when this shop opened.
I was a barista for a few years and managed 2 coffee shops in 2 different states. I love the environment of a welcoming atmosphere and especially love getting to know the baristas...
the service here has been awful. I’ve spent quite a bit of money here hoping that the service will improve. The coffee knowledge of the people that work there is minimal so when you order a Cortado no one knows how to make it. When you ask them the origin of the beans they have no idea what you’re talking about.
If you have a business dedicated to serving craft coffee to the community the expectation is there that if I’m going to pay 5 or 6 dollars for a drink it’s going to be good. I can’t tell you how many times the milk is burned from over steaming it and the 5 dollar drink I just paid for isn’t drinkable.
2 days ago I went in and ordered a gluten free breakfast sandwich with egg, avocado, and cheese. The grand total was 12.00. Seriously?? When they brought it out it was dried out cold egg and they forgot the avocado.
Such disappointing experiences. I hope they have a change in management or try to improve so we can finally get great coffee...
