We brought our kids here today for a birthday party, quite excited to have a good time. We were here on 5/4/19 from 2 pm until 4:45 pm. Unfortunately, our experience today was the exact opposite of that. It began with the man running the bumper boat ride who was quite short with the kids and adults and was not doing much to help the kids as far as getting in and out of the boats. He was chatting with the girls working and not paying much attention. We have little kids and since we can't go behind the bars it was disconcerting to watch them almost fall in the water. This was much to our dismay as we felt as though we were an inconvenience or putting him out. I understand people are human and have a bad days, so we continued with the party. Once we moved to the arcade and our 4 kids were done with games we went to the ticket counter. We stood there waiting and were next in line to be helped. We were ignored at the counter for about 20 minutes as the people in line behind us were called to redeem their tickets. Once someone finally acknowledged us we asked to combine our tickets and divide them by four. That was a mistake. It became an hour long process of scanning, re scanning, removing tickets,starting over, being told we had redeemed all of our tickets when we had in fact only redeemed 2 small items. The manager on duty was called over to fix the issue. We waited another 10 minutes for him as he couldn't be found. He gave us about 2 seconds of his time and had the employee start over. Again. We then went through the same above process again. Just to be told we didn't have tickets. At this point we became extremely frustrated and asked for the manager again. Once again, waiting because he couldn't be found. When he finally came to the counter he tried to pass the buck to his employee saying "why wasn't I told there were issues?" He knew there were issues and couldn't be bothered to help out. Went through the process again being told we didn't have tickets when we clearly did. At this point, I said thank you and we are done here. My friend then mentioned that it wasn't fair to the other 3 kids who got nothing and had been waiting through this as patiently as possible but were starting to become grumpy. I walked the facility looking for the manager The manager was once again nowhere to be found. We waited for the female manager to arrive and she helped divide the tickets and gave us an extra 100. That was very nice of her and she was quite helpful. We then went to redeem them and in the middle of this process the employee helping us just walked away to help other people on the other side of the counter. I have never in my life been so frustrated with a situation regarding customer service. I used to love fiesta fun and have been coming my entire life. Sadly, this day will be our last visit. The lack of assistance and poor attitude of the people who "assisted us", aside from the female manager, was by far enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Read moreWe are local to STG and have been to Fiesta Fun for years. Today I took my 5 kids to Fiesta Fun to have a great time. I typically play the DC push coin games while the kids run around and play all the other games. We are been working on putting the DC card sets together over the past year or so. Tonight after a couple hundred bucks and a couple of hours we were finally able to put 2 complete villain sets together to turn in. Paige (The Manager) informed us the card were only worth 50 tickets each rather then the 5000 tickets as a combined set as they did not have the barcode. Context These cards are updated over time and started with a series 1 and are now onto series 3 which have a barcode on them. So we had some cards that were series 2 that we had collected at Fiesta Fun over the last years. All of these cards are from Fiesta Fun and we have spent hard earned kids allowance on building these sets. To not accept them based on a policy change that was never posted any where at anytime is unacceptable. What a major let down for my kids. If you are going to change the policy place a sign in the machine to inform the public. Please do something to let the public know. I wasted time and money today that was not needed. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed.
Follow up to Owner Response: We have redeemed these sets over the past 2 years multiple times and it was never communicated to us about the barcode until yesterday. Also, every time we would redeem these complete sets they would print my credit card receipt showing that we had spent significant money at your establishment. I don't know your business but I assume that you could easily see from local loyal customers that have spent thousands at your establishment that we are not ordering Darkseid or Aquaman cards online. Sometimes these cards take months to get. One time it took us almost 7 months to get a Aquaman. I understand that change needed to be made I am just frustrated with the how it was communicated or...
