I placed an online order around 10:40pm with the form of payment being cash. After my order had been submitted and I wanted to track my order, the website redirected me to DoorDash tracking because it would be more efficient. After redirecting me to it, it also gave me an option to change my payment from cash to card which I ended up doing. The payment was successful and I was charged $38.07 from my debit card thru DoorDash. After a while I go to check on the status of my order and see that it was cancelled 5 minutes after I had first submitted it. I called the store and the person on the phone was rude and rushing me. I didn’t even get to finish the sentence before he interrupted me and said that my orders outside. I was like “..okay.. how do you know?” And he said that the driver had just called him to call me. I was okay with that disrespect and let it slide. My sister went outside to get the pizzas, but the driver said that she had to pay with cash and he refused to give her the pizzas. I came outside to try and resolve the issue. I explained to him that I had originally selected cash to be the form of payment (and showed him the receipt for that), but changed it to debit after the order was submitted thru the DoorDash tracking that the Papa John’s site redirected me to. I showed him that I had also been charged from my debit accounts but he gave me the attitude that he wasn’t trying to hear any of it. He said that this is above his pay grade and he doesn’t get paid enough to be dealing with this and to call the store because he can’t wait for me and will be back if the issue is resolved. I said that they close in 30 minutes so how would I be able to receive my pizzas. He said to just call the store and rushed to his car and drove off. I called the store and the same man from earlier had picked up. I quickly explained my situation to him and he asked for the order name. I provided it to him and he said that they haven’t received the payment and that he could redirect me to the customer care, again sounding very rude and quick. I asked about my payment tho? And he said they’d give me the refund thru there. I said okay and asked for the customer care and he gave me the number. I called and the automated voice told me to leave a message and that’s they’d reach back to me within 48 hours.
So I did not receive my pizza and I have to wait 2 days to not receive my refund, but to just get a response from my situation. The situation was handled so poorly and disrespectfully, I’m so shocked honestly. And I’m not one to be an angry customer or look for anything to make a problem since I also work at a fast food place and I know how customers can be sometimes or what it’s like to have a bad day while working trying not to put it on the customers, but I wouldn’t even treat my rudest customer like this. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced and of course I won’t be back here again. The redirection to DoorDash is clearly not a good system. If only I could give this...
Read moreEdit (about a week later, on September 6th): After taking a survey about my experience via email, my feedback was quickly replied to and they made up for the off night they had or whatever when I ordered a week or so ago. I appreciated how prompt their team was in replying and offering a reasonable compensation for my "meh" experience. Anyways I got a free pizza and it was wonderful. Literally, actually the best pizza I think I've ever had. Even better than a lot of small local places which I tend to prefer. The toppings were just like, very harmonious lol. So I'm changing from 3 to 4 because I think as a whole this is a good location, they just had an off night the other time I ordered.
These are the messiest tiniest pizzas I've ever gotten lol. I ordered from here once before during the day and it was great but night staff must be different or something. It was still okay but yeah, not impressed just because they're pretty spendy and I expected a medium to actually be a medium. And this one is cut nicely but the other one is all weird and effed up. Oh well, I guess I just probably won't order from Papa...
Read moreOctober 13th I ordered a pizza and wings. Good pizza, bad wings. I asked for well-done wings, it wasn't even close. The driver I already knew and texted him that they were bad he said to call up anytime in the near future to get your wings for free. It was the same manager with the same tone of voice which is pretty ridiculous. I had to order something to get my free wings... Isn't that a little ridiculous? Besides all that good people except that manager. So with all that said I will still order from there but hoping when he is not working. Thanks Dan! Such a nice manager... Oh my effing God!!! They did make my wings well done very tasty. The pizza I ordered Canadian bacon and extra cheese it just got delivered and it's Canadian bacon with pineapple!!! That manager is not in the right state of mind... The driver was a really nice guy! But that manager? How is he still...
