When you walk in you immediately feel that it has a very cool, yet somehow laid back vibe. They have a nice amount of seating and I love that the tables aren't crowded. They added bar seating to the windows which is a nice way to add a lot of seating but not crowd a place.
The staff were all absolutely lovely humans and very helpful.
There is a limited amount of items available. I had the bagel with horseradish beet schmear. The schmear was a generous amount and delicious. It was not at all heavy-handed on the horseradish. So if you're not a horseradish fan I'm sure you could still enjoy it. If you are a horseradish fan don't expect the impact of a strong horseradish, but you can expect to still enjoy it.
My friend got the cream cheese with honey smear on her bagel I thought it was very good.
We saw the brown butter chocolate chip cookies and both immediately bought a couple to go for later. I would definitely get these again. They are fantastic! The base dough has a nice rich flavor from the browned butter. They're absolutely packed with chocolate and topped with a sprinkle of salt which caps it off perfectly. Get...

I was lucky to grow up near a very old school authentic bagel shop that I have since moved away from and am constantly on the prowl for a great bagel. When I saw Jerusalem style bagels, I was hopeful but hesitant because the vibe is very trendy.
I need not be. I was in town for a week and came twice my party enjoyed the bagels so much. And I love that there are only plain NY style and sesame Jerusalem style. Simplifies everything.
We got the house cream cheese, which is like if caesar dressing was a cream cheese. It was good, but not our favorite. Similar scenario with the honey cream cheese. But the Beetroot Horseradish cream cheese is life and love if you're into those things. Not particularly spicy, but it has a bite and earthiness.
Both the Whitefish Toast and the Boquerones toast were excellent as well.
I will be back. Someday. I'm already dreaming of...
Read moreWe checked our Razava yesterday morning (a Saturday around 11:45am). Parking was tough given the area — a popular part of Grand Ave with lots of businesses, a one-way street, and lots of no-parking zones on side streets. But once we found a spot we were only pleased!
They were out of bagels so we both had our second choice (after the lox bagel): the whitefish toast. The whitefish itself was smoky yet mild, the avocado on top was perfectly ripe, and the house schmear underneath was so tasty! (It seemed to have some herbs and lemon and maybe a little bit of onion or garlic…?)
We bought some beet-horseradish schmear to go and enjoyed it on bagels the next day at home.
It was somewhat crowded but not too long of a wait for our food. The staff was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back again to try more items...
