This is the first time I've visited the small park. The setup has a very intimate atmosphere. Individuals are walking and riding bike. Couples are enjoying their time with one another. There's lots of benches for people to take advantage of.

I walked the environment of the park. Down the street from it is the affluent college professor and student neighborhood. While walking through the neighborhood, I enjoyed looking at their homes.

I walked up the steep hill and back down it for more exercise. All of this exercise and beauty led me back to the park where I was privileged to sit or stand anywhere that gave me great photos to share.

Please visit anytime, but you'll see the sun set on the right day between...

Just happened upon this tiny park with a huge view this morning while my 🐕 dog and I were exploring the area on a whim.. And it was a perfect place to watch the sun rise and see the people of St. Paul wake up and start to bustle. Has a sculpture of a female Bald 🦅 Eagle in her nest with her hatchlings that was originally commissioned by the New York Life Insurance Company and has quite a story behind it.. There's a plaque near the entrance to the park that explains some of...

My wife and I used to walk to this park weekly. In the summer it has great views of the smith st bridge in Saint Paul and the river valley including the west 7th communities and the old brewery. In the winter it is a great spot to see the valley as well. In summer it is a great spot to relax and enjoy the green grass and flowers planted around the park. Good middle spot for a run or walk to take a breath and have a drink of water...

This place hosts a beautiful view of the rolling hills, city scape and flowers. I think I'm even more impressed by the guy in the wheelchair begging for money. He is there often. How did he get up the extremely steep hill? How does he get back down? Does he make better money up here? So many questions. The crowning jewel has been the man with the accordion. He gives the nights a romantic twist with his lovely music.
