Update : tried again after a year. No improvement. Team couldn't be ruder or more ineffective if they tried. Tiffany simply shouldn't be allowed to speak to customers. We were told by corporate CS that complaints about this franchisee are common and were promised a call back within 24 hours...which of course didn't happen. Starbucks is just up the street. No need to deal with intolerable workers like Tiffany and her unpleasant, incompetent buddies.
Just when I thought customer service couldn't get worse than 34th St S, this location managed it.
Based on prior experience with understaffing, we ordered ahead through the app. When we arrived, the drive thru line was out to the street, so we went inside. Where we were told we didn't have an order. Then that it wasn't ready. Then that they couldn't find it. So they remade it (a box of asst donuts). With attitude.
When we called later to talk to an MOD, she said she had pulled the order herself, that it was still there waiting for us and that all the front of store team had needed to do was walk a couple of feet around a corner and LOOK FOR IT.
Ridiculous.
Going back to the locally owned shop. They might not have an app, but they can manage to put twelve donuts in a box without...
Read moreWe ordered a croissant, some bacon rollups, and two doughnuts. When we got home the croissant was burnt and the rollups were hard. One of my kids decided to eat the rollups anyway but only ate half of one. My other daughter could not even try to eat the croissant it was so burnt. We ate what we could and then drove back to exchange it. We decided to go inside to return it. Once we handed it to them they laughed and said " Oh yeah the cook remembers that one!" What? Seriously? The cook rembers giving out a burnt sandwich and not fixing it? Then when I said if they knew it was burnt why did they send it out the window to us? She said "oh because some people actually like them burnt like that and ask us to burn them". I'm sorry but we did not ask for a burnt one. Then while we were by there register and she took it to the cook and drive thru people they started talking about it and laughing hysterically. So then we moved down where they could see me and the three kids I was packing around and they stopped instantly. One lady said sorry for that, but it did not seem to sincere. (I could be wrong I can't tell how she felt inside but the outside did not appear...
Read moreThe only reason they got 2 stars is because I like their coffee. It is nice and new.. however, one staff was very nice(she usually gets orders for drive thru) but the other staff who looks really young and gives the coffee is so rude. She doesn't say any word.......... like "here is your coffee" or "Thank you" as such things. I tried to see if she is gonna say something today......... She says no word. WHENEVER I get a coffee from her, my day starts very unpleasant. I drink the extra large cup of coffee almost 4 or 5 times a week. One time, they gave me a large cup instead of Extra large. I said the cup looks smaller but the worker said it looks smaller because they changed to the paper cup. but I knew it. I came to work and I was gonna get the 2nd cup of coffee from the coffee machine but it was DEFINITELY different size. They charged me the EXTRA LARGE though. One time, I asked if they have any napkins. The rude young worker said they ran out of it, but she didn't say anything like "sorry." I love Dunkin Donuts.. it is on the way to work but I don't like...
