IHOP — Restaurant in Tarpon Springs

Sometimes it is the simple things well done that make a ggod time even better. The other day a friend and I decided to go for an impromptu breakfast. We decided to go to the Ihop on US Hwy 19N Tarpon Springs FL.

What a lovely breakfast.The menu for 55+ was a relief. We were so grateful to Jada our server for helping to keep our costs down while we had a great and satisfying breakfast. The manager Jason leads well. The restaurant is clean and service great. I liked this IHOP and I am very likely to return.

I didn't expect to enjoy myself so much, I mean it was just breakfast. But so many little things done well really made a difference. It earned 5 stars because on an average day the staff did everything right, the food was hot and tasty, premises clean. Doing the right thing when you think no one is taking a special notice is the essence of integrity.

I just want to say. Last minute we tried IHOP in Tarpon Springs for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was the most disgusting food we ever ate. The stuffing was so hard and dry. The turkey was not real Turkey. The mashed potatoes were not good. We had 3 adults one 6 year old. Not one of us was satisfied in any way. Mind you for 85 dollars it should of at least been hot on our plates. Never again. Do not advertise a Thanksgiving meal how you did. This food is what they give to people in shelters and that's a shame. No person should have to eat such hideous food. The stuffing was so hard we did not eat it. IHOP you need to do better if your offering a Thanksgiving dinner at least make it taste like it should be and serve it hot. Very disappointing for spending 85 dollars on the food. I think it could be better if they got rid of Sabrina. She is the worst server I've ever had anywhere. Drinks came with meal. She forgot to put my order in. We had to get our own to go boxes. At least 4 of us work in this industry. We had 11 people in our party and we were the only customers at 9 pm. She couldn't remember who ordered what so we had to raise our hands like school kids to get our drinks and meals. The t-bone was ordered mw, the first time it came out well done the second time it came out medium rare. We had her 2 weeks ago and it was a disaster then as well. Her attitude last time was horrendous. This time I told her she shouldn't be a server. I will give them one more try but not if Sabrina will be our server. She really is so bad that I'd rather go hungry than have her wait on me...
