I used the drive thru for a 20 oz. iced Americano, black. I was a bit shocked to discover this rather simple drink costs $6.25. While paying with a handheld device the attendant said, "Is 15% okay?" rather than allowing me to choose my own tip. I found this to be unusual and unpleasant as I felt it was mandatory to tip for drive thru service. This put the cost of my Americano to over $7. I looked over some other reviews by different contributors and I noticed several other people complaining about the same issue with the tip. I have to wonder if this establishment adds in a mandatory 15% tip to pay their workers less. I give the taste of the Americano 3/5. Not bad but could have more complexity. I may try this place again in the future and I will update the review if necessary... But there are many other great coffee places in St Pete that I would rather visit, and this experience was highly unusual when compared to them.

Food and drink are alright. The service is about as good as one can do for the kind of operation they’re running so no complaints there. There isn’t really too much atmosphere to speak of as it’s mainly a drive thru with a few bar height tables you could stand at and lean on. The one thing that got me messed up tho was the $4.50 charge + tax (not including tip) for simply a standard double shot espresso. I didn’t even pay that much for an espresso in NYC post-pandemic. TBH if it even came in some kind of interesting cup with a cool little insignia design or anything stamped on it it might make me feel like it was special or something but it doesn’t even have that. At best, if you’re desperate for decent coffee, I’ll give them that but they should at least spruce up the branding or something idk just seems overly expensive for a product that felt like it was lacking anything special

Although I usually love this place, it seems like the prices are just getting more expensive and the food is getting smaller and service is getting worse. The other day I went and a worker just stood by my car, didn’t greet me, ask me what I wanted, just blank stared and didn’t even offer a menu-it was super awkward and weird. So once I did order-For over $25 a small(and I mean small) hibiscus tea and salmon toast is just a lot. Although taste is great, and the woman who delivered the food was a delight-it’s just…not really worth it for me. They did pack in a good amount of salmon for the tiny toast but again, is it worth it? Meh. photos are to show size comparison

We were here on Dec. 8th, but I wanted to give a shout out to this place before I forget... I didn't realize that this place is more setup for drive thru with only a very small space under a roofed area for walk up. It appears the location was an old service station and has been remodeled into this cafe. The kitchen/service area is smallish and a lot of staff is busy creating drinks and food quickly for the frequent lineup of drive thru customers. It was also decorated for the holidays. Cute! We walked from our airbnb so we made use of the tiny outdoor area. I was a little leery if service would be good given that we were not the "norm" and they were quite busy with drive thru. However, we were greeted right away and never left to feel we were anything but a priority. The young lady taking our order was so nice and took all my specific requests so that I got exactly what I wanted. We ordered some breakfast toasts from their speciality menu and I can say that both of them were fantastic. I could happily eat those delicious, flavorful and healthy toasts daily. We talked briefly with one of the owners, too, because I had to tell her how nice they were and the good energy they gave. For me, when I go for coffee or a smaller breakfast like this, it's really the atmosphere that makes the experience. In this case, it was both the food and the people. I'd be happy to revisit knowing that I'd be leaving again with a smile on my face and bit more pep in my step! A smallish side note that my husband mentioned - as is the case for many food service places lately, prices are on the higher side, but given the quality we both...

(Adjusted from 5 to 2 stars) .. One of the best egg croissant sandwiches I've had in awhile too. The drive-thru experience is super unique, you have to give this place a try.

This place is amazing, don't get me wrong .. however, they once messed up my order and put bacon (on two sandwiches), when I go out of my way to not eat meat. After returning home, I realized and called them .. the manager said they would remake it for me, but not everyoone has the time to stop what they are doing and return.. especially considering the drive-thru express nature of the place. As I travel quite often, I didnt return for a few months and when I did, they acted like I was trying to get free food and asked me to pay for one, and they would provide the other on trust that I wasn't making up some story... which is why I have to lower the review here to two stars.

Epic food, but like .. I paid to have two bacon sandwiches that I couldn't eat and the only way I could eat here again was by buying another sandwich!? AND taking the time to return, prove my story on pure trust. I felt awkward and embarrassed to even ask again and return.. but I did, and I owned it.. and now that I consider having to repay for more food.. I have a hard time considering this place...

And I quote,” these’s a 15% gratuity I took the liberty of adding so you don’t have to touch the machine!” I was dumbfounded! What- you added 15% gratuity, without my consent after my card was swiped[?] He sure did! No, we did not cancel our order- I was shook. Chick-fil-A does not take the liberty of charging 15% gratuity, as they stand outside and take your order. So am I missing a new handout zombie wave or something? Tipping is fine, at that parties discretion, not at the liberty of the server, and of course Per restaurant policy.

And the cinnamon roll was basically still frozen in the center. It’s drive-through dinning, not pay for you food and finish warming your meal, once you arrive home. And, you’ll have to request a receipt, if you are A meticulous record keeper. Nothing special- and the staff seemed sad to be working! Not even their -“took the Liberty 15% self gratuity” seemed to make them happy! Rip. Oh, food review, just okay! Nothing...
