This place is A-OK. I wish that I could have rated this bar higher but just can't. The food is still delicious and massive in size. Who doesn't like massive amounts of carbs covered in grease? Fries, pizza, onions rings so delish! And that bbq grilled chicken sandwich that seems as though there is a half of a chicken in there and can feed two adults and a small child, is still a winner. Service has tanked a bit. I'll be honest it was always slow, nothing has changed about that and it was always our rule to walk ourselves over to the bar and order and not wait for the beach servers to do it, it's faster. But now on top of the turtle crawling speeds there is a bit of 'tude going on. It's also kind of expensive for what you're getting- think Costco size and quality but Cheesecake Factory pricing.

If you're a cruise ship passenger this is your only option for food, unless you stop by somewhere on your way over or do takeout from one of those restaurants at Havensight (see my food list for Havensight visitors).

I remember last year of where the hubby and I used to sit in the water and have beers and strawberry daiquiris run to us with awesome friendly service all afternoon . Hopefully that will come back it as it sure is...

Overall a beautiful beach, nice staff at the bar. The beach "bouncers" were the issue. First, you pay to enter the beach. Entering the beach there were free picnic tables, and a stack of chairs. Chairs with no signage, no staff, not locked up, etc. A group of us pulled the chairs out and set ourselves up on the beach. The staff came over and rudely stated, "Get up now, get off my chairs, this aint no free for all. You pay if you sit on this beach but not here. Get up." He made a big scene, which was embarrassing. We honestly had no idea that we had done something wrong until be came up. He stacked the chairs and left. It happened all over again about 30 minutes later. I finally said to the man, you don't have anything marked, locked or stating these are not available and it keeps happening. It was an honest mistake for us, guessing it is for most people... He walked off and another guy returned with a cable and lock. The long haired strawberry blonde could use some training on handling people. On a brighter note... great drinks from awesome bar staff were layer enjoyed from our towels...

Overcooked foods with surly attitudes. First the Grill, it deserves all of the ire. The conch fritters were likely the worst fried menu item served on Earth today. The conch could easily be replaced with rubber bands for a more enjoyable dining experience. Just a bad representation of a fritter and a tourist trap. The pizzas are not terrible, cheese or pepperoni being the two options. Mostly Meh food, served to people trapped by a timeline and cab fare. Nobody comes here to eat. So, the joke is on you if you choose to. The drinks were good, with no complaints regarding the service or quality of alcoholic beverages. Again, this is a beach location for tourists without access to more secluded parts of the USVIs. There were Pelicans diving up and down the beach for fish and some sea turtles if you were willing to swim out and look for them.
