Nestled within the charming Flamboyan Resort, Northside Grind is a hidden gem worth discovering. This delightful spot offers a fresh and invigorating experience that’s hard to find elsewhere.
The ambiance is a perfect blend of boho chic and nostalgic comfort, with games available to entertain both the young and the young at heart. It’s a place where you can unwind and enjoy the laid-back vibes while sipping on one of their many coffee varieties or freshly made specials.
Their commitment to using fresh ingredients is evident in every bite. The juices are 100% natural and bursting with flavor. We particularly loved the Reuben sandwich and the Avocado Toast. The Reuben was hearty and satisfying, while the Avocado Toast stood out with its generous serving of fresh, creamy avocado, clearly made from scratch.
Northside Grind is a must-visit for anyone staying at or near the Flamboyan Resort. It’s a haven for food lovers looking for quality, fresh products in a cozy and playful setting. We can’t wait to...
Read moreLocated on the same property as Flamboyan, near ample parking spaces this establishment provides one of the best cold brews or hot coffees available on the northside of the island. In addition to the coffee and alternative dairy options, they freshly make a selection of breakfast wraps, Sandwiches, overnight oats, chia pudding and smoothies for a quick start to the day. Everything tastes great and the menu has something for both vegetarians or omnivores. The staff is friendly, communicative and outgoing; they even take the time to label your order and/or bring it out to you while waiting outside. They will even take orders over the phone to save time when you pick up. Hot and cold orders will be in the sitting in the fridge or the incubator waiting for their new family to take them home. The interior is cozy and has some nice seating with simple take top games to pass the time. You may also opt to sit outside in the covered seating to hangout with the local chickens and hotel cats. Please stop by and...
Read moreProbably the best iced latte I’ve found on the island so far, and it’s such a relief. It’s one of the closest places I’ve found to a standard metropolitan place making espresso drinks. On the island I’ve had sour, watery coffee called an iced latte, and a bitter iced latte, but this coffee actually tastes good, and strong enough even with a bunch of milk and over ice. The food is a bit heavy, not standard coffee shop baked goods, but rather breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and wraps, so it’s just a coffee stop as far as I’m concerned. They sell beans, too, but they were $18 for a bag, so it’s a bit pricy for beans—$15 for something fresh and local is about my max.
This is on the Flamboyan resort complex, and there’s plenty of parking. They have signs out from the road, and mapping apps get you here properly. There’s a bit of gravel road and parking...
