Iāve been to Bobās Subs in both Indiana and Clarion. Iāve had zero problems at either location and the subs were great. I expected the same great service when I heard there was one coming to Delmont, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience today. It was pretty busy when I arrived which wasnāt a problem, but when I went to order the cashier rushed me just to get to the next person. I ordered two subs, two donuts, and a refresher. The donuts and the refresher came out quickly and my first sub came out in a timely manner. We then noticed that bigger orders/people who ordered after us were coming out before our sub. We waited and eventually asked about this much longer it would take, the workers told us they would look at the order. After asking the first time, we asked three times following that and each time they told us they were either working on it or going too look for it. Then on the fourth inquiry they finally asked us what kind of sub we had, meaning that they had lost the ticket. It took another 15 minutes after that to get the sub to us and the worker DID NOT apologize for the hour long wait or for lying about checking on our order. The workers also remade completed orders and lost other tickets besides ours.
I used to work in the food industry so I can understand how stressful situations like that can be, especially for a new business. It is never fun to be that packed while understaffed, however the way you react to those situations can be controlled. All the of workers there were rude, gave no real explanation on why it was taking so long, and lacked any sort of professionalism. Iām not asking for a lot from a sub shop but some transparency and organization would be appreciated not just by me but all of your customers. Just because a business is run by family doesnāt mean you donāt train your workers correctly.
I just hope this review helps the business improve for the future because I think Bobās is great and I want to see a local...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend and I decided to try out bobs subs today and I am absolutely enraged by the service. I get up to the counter and ask about the size of a sub and I am told that a junior is a 6 inch sub so I order one, pay, and then my friend does the same. We get our cards and sit down and twenty minutes later (understandable itās the opening day) they call my friends card which is a bit odd since I ordered before them but they go up and get the sandwich and come back to our table. They open is and itās the wrong sub. It was MY sub so they just gave it to me. What I was given was two six inch subs so immediately I was disappointed because I payed for more food than I was told I was getting and our orders were mixed up. We wait and wait and wait and 20 more minutes go by before my friend that ordered RIGHT after me got their sub. They were the same sub just some items removed so itās not like they ordered something super extra. So after fourty minutes, twenty watching me eat their sub, they open the sub that was supposed to be theirs and it is ALSO the wrong sub, a much larger size and the incorrect items added on it. The subs were tasty if youāre willing to overpay and try something new since they canāt be bothered to serve you the correct item in a...

The kindest woman was behind the counter and did an excellent job putting the right foot forward for this new local sandwich shop. She was the owner's mother and told us all about the business and their commitment to the franchise. It's great to see a new restaurant in the area after COVID-19 crippled the local companies.
My dad had the Italian, and I had the steak, both of which were senior portion optionsāgreat sizes for sharing and good quality. I preferred the steak, but it's just my personal opinion. I don't care for cured meats, but my dad said it was very good!
There's a place to sit down and eat, but we got ours to go. Overall, definitely will...
