I think this place has great potential and has a good atmosphere. they had live music playing the night we went. the way it is organized to order and get your food and drinks is just awkward. you have to wait in line at the bar for everything! we were sitting inside, downstairs near the bar and everything we ordered came to us in to-go styrofoam containers while the people next to us had actual plates. the bottle of wine even came with plastic glasses. when we were waiting in line for a second beer, we joked that we'd get them in red solo cups. it just had a cafeteria sense to it that I don't like. I feel like I'm at a stage in life beyond waiting in the line at a keg party for drinks. the food was only ok and the portion size of spinach artichoke dip for $12, coming out to you in a paper container like you ordered nachos at the game, is really lame. you're paying top dollar prices to be served food in throw away containers that you had to stand in line for. it'd be different if you were at an outdoor event ordering from food trucks, you'd expect that. I'm dating myself but this seems like a younger crowd...
Read moreUpdating my review - we have been back at least twice now ? And the wines have definitely tasted better!
Cute place, good service and friendly workers. We really like wine and know a good tasting wine. Unfortunately the dry wines were not very good, they had no legs at all. The petite syrah was bareable but if you're a true wine drinker you'll know what I mean. Nice atmosphere and cozy place though but if you're looking for quality wine I Unfortunately would have to say not the place right now.
Also after reading the response to my post, I marked one star off for the taste of the wine. Everything else was great. Sheesh. And there is a wine called syrah, which there are wineries in the area that have it. Also often European wines use syrah and not sirah spelling. I think the spelling nitpicking wasn't necessary, and we did try a variety of your wines while there. You have room to grow and if everyone gave 5 star reviews all the time then they're lying. I'm sure you're wines will get better. We also aren't sweet drinkers so we can't...
Read moreWe visited the winery for the first time yesterday evening. Cute location, accommodating, live music, nice staff and every wine we tried was great. They also had a nice selection of beers and other non-wine drinks. Docked an overall star for the food. It honestly just was not great at all. The table tried the cheese flat bread, the white flat bread, and the BBQ flatbread, as well as the pretzel bites and the spinach dip. The spinach dip was quite a small portion for $12, nothing to write home about taste wise but the fresh pita chips were yummy. I would say the same about the pretzels, very small portion for $12, but they were pretzels. The two flatbreads my friends got looked good, but my cheese flatbread was simply just bad. I’m not one to complain directly but I barely ate two pieces because it was just not appetizing. The table agreed. Unfortunately the best way I could describe it was like a school lunch pizza…just not good. But everything else made up for that. Would...
