H & R Bakery — Restaurant in Salem

First of all the product is very tasty....however don't plan on getting more than just a couple at a time, if you are planning on getting a dozen or even more forget about it, unless you want them smashed on each other,,,even when you request a LARGE box to put them in you are questioned on HOW MANY you will be getting....at first I thought I was the only one but just today a lady in front of me was buying for several people including children and asked that her orders be split into bags,,,let me say that again....IN BAGS,,,and was given a hard time over this, the manager herself come around the corner and asked why all the bags??...REALLY does it matter?? the customer should have a right to have their order bagged or boxed without fear of the manager or employee giving them a HARD time ...We the customer are the ones that pay your wages, keep the lights on and keep you in business,,,,Think about this the next time you want to give us a hard time over getting a box.......ticked...

Let me say up front that they had a help wanted sign on the door. We felt so sorry for the gal that took the order ahead of us. You could tell she was newer and didn't know how to do some things. The customer ordered something that she wasn't sure how to do, the other person there wasn't very helpful and had a total attitude. Rather than helping her, she went off and did other things, meanwhile the poor customer waited and waited and waited. Then she finally got it and then had trouble with the cash register. We finally got our order placed, ate and drank our purchase and left just after the people that came in ahead of us checked out. Nice variety of donuts and tasked good, but management needs to pay attention while they still have something to work with. We did really like...

Adorable setting and great for a WiFi option on the go. Looks like a yummy bakery but because I was on a special food program, I had to be careful my sugar and carb intake. Unfortunately I asked for an iced coffee with a splash of almond milk and a single pump of sugar free vanilla . Instead I got a full sugar free latte with more than one pump. It was a bumpy experience to get the coffee right which I was eventually told they don’t have ice coffee. I just didn’t feel like she was really listening to me and that my requests was a bother. Maybe it is more a bakery place than a coffee shop style place. I just needed a place with WiFi to stop while passing through. But I would recommend for sure as it is...
