First of all, im not one to write any reviews, good or bad but this one i had to write one. Took my daughter who was visiting from LA along with my 2 nieces for lunch. My 2 nieces had to b back by 1pm. Waited for 50 min still hadn't gotten our food and when I did get mine, my bread was cold as if it hadn't been grilled. My fries was not crispy either as i had ordered. When I got the sandwich back, they only gave me my hot pastrami with no fries n asked if i wanted to wait for fries as we were leaving. Had to have all our lunches to go instead of enjoying a bday lunch with my daughter n nieces. Manager was very nice n opted to comp our food which I did not expect. I was ready to pay. So I told myself I'll give it another try n ordered my hot pastrami again today. Again very disappointed . :-( My bread was not grilled how its suppose to be n the pastrami was not even a bit grilled before putting it inside the bread. It's like they just put the pastrami inside the bread n let it warm up inside the bread. Altho they did get my fries crispy as I requested but I'm not able to eat my sandwich again. .. so I had fries for lunch. I have always loved the food but I don't know what happened to the quality of the food. That is why I can't get any of my friends or coworkers to eat there with me because of bad experience and have had experienced myself within a week time I will not be returning or even order to go any longer. All in all, service is terrible. As for the food, maybe find...
Read moreWe were walking while hungry and the smell coming from this place pulled us in. We were seated right away. While they advertise as being a wine bar as well as a pizzeria their wine list is short. They didn't have a resling at all on the menu so I asked the waitress, she hesitated said no, then very quickly said oh wait yeah we do. I was brought a glass of some kind of white wine that was not a resling. I should have complained but I didn't, just figured, whatever not a big deal. When we got the check it was rung up as a totally different type of wine even. She could have just told me they didn't have resling, like I wasn't gojng to notice she gave me a chardonnay. The pizza was disappointing. The sauce was good, The crust was bland and chewy in a bad way. We also tried the Alfredo, it was very good and definitely the saving grace of the meal. Basically, the service was crappy, and tacky, and the food isn't amazing. I'd have given three stars if the waitress had just been honest...
Read moreTwo months ago I gave Casa Sorrento' 5 stars and said it was the best pizza in town. The pizza is still amazing, sadly the restaurant no longer is.Over the last few months I have seen a deterioration of what once was my favorite restaurant in town. My family has had numerous family birthdays and celebrations here over the last 12 -15 years, and the place used to be packed. That no longer is the case. The last few times we have come in the place has been empty, and I understand why. The service is mediocre at best and a few menu items are not what they once were. (Chicken picata) Last night our server forgot a salad, an entree, and never offered us dessert at the end of the meal. I don't feel he was entirely to blame. Management appears to be non existent. The entire restaurant appeared to need a good cleaning and the restrooms were appalling. I hate to give this review and seriously hope management takes notice. I look forward to seeing a change. I don't want to lose the best...
