XL Public House — Restaurant in Salinas

When arriving the security were very polite welcoming us to the XL. "First timers" we met up with my brother from Bakersfield and his fiance and my Son and his wife from Sacramento and 2 of my nephew Roy and Oscar jr. from the Valley of the Beast Salinas Ca. Plenty of seats to enjoy the event on the huge screen and downs stairs a band Called Rudian gave the place a great social vibe. We all enjoyed the Rudian band. The only disappointment there was when I tried to order a beer Modelo and you didn't carry it. I just hope the next time I decide to go I will be able to enjoy a chilled glass with salt around the rim of the glass and a very cold Modelo beer served with...

I can’t think of anything positive that happened during this visit….the entrance guy was nice. Service is not like I hoped it would be, had to be on a look out for seating and they said they didn’t have any extra chairs for us to sit, music not good. I have more cons than pros. Went here last night for the first time and it was probably the best all around experience I’ve had at any pour house in Salinas. The guys who worked there made you feel welcome and super humorous. 5/5 recommend this place! Great beer, and great vibe.
