The fricken best. Hands down. Owners an OG from the Gambino neighborhood. Marinara sauce takes 10 hrs to make and uses organic san marzanos. These guys know what's up. I come out here once a year for a race at limerock and Deanos is always a stop on the way out. Gentleman this is the guy from Rochester who asked for whatever marinara sauce you could part with and told you he didn't care what it cost.
So we always order calzones and guys......I gotta say......this fricken meat baby you put together for me was next level alright? From the quality of the rocioitta to the beautiful mozz that was stuffed inside this perfect dough baby. Look a chicken pepp and spinach calzone is not supposed to taste this good. Especially for $12 come on..and the homemade sauce on top of that? I'm talking we got tomato seeds, fresh basil (which is sweet as all hell, just beautiful basil) onions that you know have been sweating for a minute. Next time im down that way I'm gonna have to call in a gallon order of that sauce.
Long story short. Good people. Good pies. Good calzones. Damn good ingredients and it shows. You guys get it. God bless and keep...
Read moreI’m not one to post reviews but after trying to call, I felt the need to. We ordered our food at 5:47pm, the app showed 6:42pm delivery, which most pizza places are about an hour for delivery- so cool, right in line with our time frame we expected. Finally at 7:31pm, we call and I’m asked to hold, I said sure as I know on a busy night, they won’t want to clog their phone lines. Instead, the receiver was placed on a counter and I get to enjoy a few moments of cool, calm and collectives voices with very little kitchen noise (trust me, the kitchen noise was not far from ears reach). Ultimately, I hung up. At 7:40pm our food finally arrives (mind you, it’s an 8 minute drive without speeding to Deanos from our place). If you think for a second that this was worth the wait— nope, guess again! Our 2 pizzas were luke warm at best with rock hard crust, the wings were gross due the puddle of water from condensation and the salad was missing its cheese. We've recently experienced quick delivery with decent food with friends so this was not what we expected (and yes it was on a nice Saturday night previously) Not so thrilled to have wasted...
Read moreFirst of all, I shouldn't really call it pizza, because it's not a "classic" by any stretch. Deano invented some awesome pies by molding some interesting flavors! I frequent here during work hours, there's nothing better than a slice of Deanos in the middle of the workday.they have a very large variety of the classics and fun twists of your favorite flavors. Sometimes it's sweet baby Ray BBQ, sometimes it is chicken bacon ranch, sometimes it is Buffalo, sometimes it's sweet chili. By far the best pizza I've ever eaten has been the lasagna Pizza. I'm talking everything in New York City doesn't even compare. The crust is thin, flavorful, crunchy. The sauce is sweet exactly how I like. The toppings have a very large variety and are very tasty. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Try the...
