We went to our local Dunkin to pick up a mobile order at around 6pm today. We went through the drive thru and let the lady know we were picking up a mobile order. We had two empanadas on our order ($8.38 total). They were unfortunately out of empanadas - darn! But okay, that happens. I asked for a couple different sandwich options but unfortunately they were out of many things (I assume due to it being 6pm - no worries. It happens). They also couldn’t take off the empanadas from my mobile order which sucked but isn’t the employees’ or store’s fault.
What was frustrating was overhearing through the speaker box “what’s going on” “she can’t figure out what she wants to order.” It’s not that I can’t figure it out, but that I’ve asked for a bagel, out of bagels. Would you like a croissant? Sure, but for our second empanada, I’d like a sandwich….an English muffin sounded just fine. It’s a $4.79 sandwich. About $0.50 more expensive than the empanada. “Okay that’ll cover both empanadas, okay?” What? No, I paid $8+ dollars, I’m not okay subbing two items for one $5 dollar item.
I also got a cinnamon vanilla coffee, and was told they are no longer doing the churro/cinnamon, despite it being an option on both their drive thru board and mobile app. Not they were out, that “they weren’t doing it anymore.” Okay :/ it was just confusing.
We figured out the substitution at the window, but it was frustrating having to explain to the lady at the window that one $4.79 entree should not replace two entrees for a total of $8.38. When we told her this, she responded “oh, really?” Like she didn’t know the price of the menu items. Are they not on the POS for employees to see?
Coffee was nice (as always) and the sandwich and my bagel minis were great. But our ham and Swiss croissant (sub we did at window) was completely burnt, as pictured here. Just disappointing, especially because we come here all the time, both mornings and evenings, and usually have...
Read moreI came here this morning for brunch. I wanted a croissant, a lemon donut, and iced coffee. I asked for a lemon donut and was told that this location does not have that kind of donut. Why would a newly established Dunkin Donuts be so limited in their donut selection? That was the first strike. Next, I ordered my croissant, without cheeses, a powdered donut, and a caramel iced coffee. I was told that they had no powdered donuts when I got to the window so I settled for a glazed donut. I paid and left.
Once I pulled off and headed home I went to eat my glazed donut. It was dry as the Sierra desert. I put the donut down, thinking my croissant would make up for the donut travesty I experienced when trying the glazed donut. To my horror, the croissant was worse!!!! There was cheeses oozing out from all sides and the croissant was almost black it was so burnt!!!
I was so upset at what I had been served that I immediately called the store. The respresentative told me that the croissants were usually darkened, trying to make light of my burnt croissant. I told her that that was wrong, I had ordered croissants from DD before and they were a beautiful golden color, not burnt crispy. I also told her about the dry donut and she said that's how their donuts are, glazed without any appearance of glaze on them. She said I could come back for another order, which I did. The new croissant was still over browned and the powdered donut I was told they didn't have was right there, there were about forty of them. As it turns out, she had lied to me. There is no way those donuts weren't there an hour ago, or in the oven where she could of had me wait for it.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. This is unexceptable. I can't believe DD is doing their...
Read moreI go to this location almost daily, sometimes even 2x daily. I Almost always have a good experience, with friendly service. Well last night Saturday 6/25 I used the mobile app at 9:17pm and ordered 3 drinks and 2 sandwich’s. I pulled up at 9:19 to the drive through and waited but no one answered after a few mins I drove around because I could see the guy inside by the drive threw window. He would not look in my direction so I beeped the horn as soon as I did this he booked it to the back. I tried calling inside and got no answer. So I called customer service, I was there about 20-25 mins trying to get his attention at both the speaker and the window because I already paid. They close at 10. I ended up Going to McDonald’s next door. After I decided to check one last time but again he would not come up front. Probably lost about 8-12 customers between 9:15 and 10 because he would not answer anyone who went to the drive threw or the window. The open sign was on, no notice on the board saying they closed early, all lights were on. Just no excuse. If he would of at least said I’m sorry were out of xyz I would of totally understood because it was late and I would of been happy to pick it up the next day. There was only 1 guy working last night and I honestly felt ignored purposely. Like there is no way you didn’t realize you had a mobile order for 45 mins or no customers for almost an hour! I’m pretty sure my phone number is also on my mobile receipt so why not call if there was a problem? Anyway, I did go in this morning 6/26 and explained what happened to one of the girls and she was very friendly and apologized and got my order no questions. So thank you very much to the staff...
