So I ordered a couple of cheesesteaks to be delivered to my home through the Jersey Mike's app. So the delivery guy shows up a half hour later with chinese or mexican food in tin pans, I told him mine was a sub order. He proceeded to tell me that he would go back to where he dropped by food off and be back in about 30 minutes. Okay, I don't want a cold sub nor one that someone else has had. So I called the 1405 S. Salisbury store where I ordered, they quickly tried to dismiss me, telling me I needed to call Door Dash, I explained I didn't use the Door Dash app, but ordered through Jersey Mike's. I then told them it was not my job to do this, if they use DD for deliveries, this is their problem and I would be by to pick up my food. When I arrived at Jersey Mike's the manager said she did me "a FAVOR"??? and called DD herself to get money refunded. If Jersey Mike's using DD that is on them, not me....I never called DD to deliver my food so I had no contract with them, my contract was with Jersey Mike's. And since when is me waiting an hour for my food, losing $7 for fees, gas and my time doing me a FAVOR?? Read moreI have never had issues with this jersey mikes & have emailed & also called but received no answer to see if there was a way the problem I have experienced could be fix or make it up to me somehow.I ordered two subs on Aug 31,2024 & I spent $50 because I get extra toppings & meat on my subs.My partner sub was fine but my sub was so thin & less meat I could instantly tell by weight when I picked it up it was less then a normal cheesteak sub even though I ordered extra & but the absolute worst part was all cheesesteak meat was burnt completely all black you could literally smelll it was burnt when you opened the wrap,there was no mayo or even cheese on the sub.I was so disappointed in the whole situation on paying extra for toppings & receiving a sub in that condition I had to throw away a $17.00 sub even though I reached out & heard nothing.It heartbreaking when you spend money for food that usually always good but it also sad when you have to waste/throw away food especially since prices keep rising in economy.I’m recurring customer & I do love how friendly some workers are when I go in but I would hate to have to take my business...
Read moreNot gonna lie.....it's my happy place.....that was my review 5 years ago a 5 star.....Now ...I have always liked going to Jersey Mike's, however I have come to learn over the last several experiences that if you want your sub made correctly you CAN NOT order on the app, 100% of the time they will short you on the amount and types of meat they put on your sub. The #13 gets 5 types of meat, every time at more than four locations when ordered on the app it always has only pepperoni and ham, THATS IT, very friendly people working great service HOWEVER if you're not their to watch them make it, your getting cheated, The convenience of ordering on the app is not worth it anymore...I understand everyone is different with their experiences but this has always been the case for the last couple years, enough is enough, stop cheating people to save a buck.
