Ana, the manager, was a total (Y) when I went in this morning. I ordered a large mocha frappe at the kiosk because no one was up front. She came from out of the back & asked who had placed the order. I said I did. "We're not making frappes today." Not that they COULDN'T but WEREN'T. I said okay and walked up to the register. She asked me what I wanted. What do you THINK I want? I'm not getting what I ordered and paid for so I want my money back. She glared at me for a good 5-10 seconds and while still mean mugging came over to the register to begin the refund. Then she changed her mind and went to the drink machine and made my "frappe". 'Oh, so the machine works after all?' but she didn't say a word. She just sat it down on the counter and walked away without a word. I told her to expect a call from the DM before days end.
Got in the car, drove off, took a sip and that heifer had given me a chocolate shake to look like a frappe. I had already placed a $12.55 lunch order that by the time I got there was stone cold. I figured since my lunch was ruined WTH and went by the McDonald's near me. I'm friends with the manager and the staff in there and have never had any issues there in all the time I've been going there. I talked to my buddy and told her what happened. She apologized for the Tilghman Road cow and gave me the actual frappe that I paid for. TWO D@MN HOURS IN TOTAL TO GET A EFFEN DRINK BECAUSE SOMEBODY IS MAD THEY HAVE TO WORK...
Read moreThe girl working the drive thru this morning was incredibly rude and unprofessional and is everytime I have to interact with her. She greets me over the speaker by simply saying "can I help you?" Then doesn't ask if that completed my order and then does not direct me to pull around. Confused, when I ask if I should proceed to the window I get "yea". When I pull up to the window she is always talking inappropriately on her personal blue tooth then sticks her hand at me without saying anything or looking at me as to lazily imply that I'm am now to pay. I don't get a thank you or anything as she walks away talking on her phone after she carelessly gives me my bag. This happens literally every time.
I am in management for a local family owned corporation and this employee needs to be retrained in the areas of customer service, professionalism, courtesy and respect. I am a well manored army veteran and humble human neighbors as well as overly appreciative and respectful with every other person, I shouldn't be treated like this person is doing me a favor by poorly doing the bare minimum at her entry level job. I plan to escalate this issue through the proper chanels of your corporation until this employee's less than satisfactory performance is reevaluated and corrected. Thank you for your time and have a...
Read moreI recently visited McDonalds and was thoroughly impressed by their manager and staff, especially in handling difficult situations.
Despite encountering some very rude and impatient customers during my visit, the staff remained composed and professional throughout and efficiently managed the crowds while ensuring that each customer was treated with respect and courtesy.
What stood out to me the most was how the manager handled these challenging interactions. Instead of escalating tensions, he remained calm and focused on finding solutions to satisfy the customers' needs. Whether it was something missing from the order, or how long they were outside waiting , he demonstrated remarkable patience and dedication.
In particular, I observed one instance where a customer became agitated because they didn’t get enough sauce. Rather than becoming defensive, the staff member apologized sincerely and promptly rectified the error, going above and beyond to ensure the customer left satisfied.
This level of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction speaks volumes about the values upheld. Despite the fast-paced environment, their commitment to delivering excellent service shines through, making every visit a pleasant experience. I only wish I had...
